@taylorswift, I think you need to make a tumblr return for 1989 TV 🩵
Swiftiehood 🫶🏻

i could write an essay on how deeply i love you're on your own, kid but one of the lines that i personally love is the resolve in "i play my songs in the parking lot, i'll run away". i love that she wrote it from her pov in the past, but then switches to present and i love how that theme of running away came to her when she was younger as a safety net. you can always run away. you can always start over. when you're young, you just run. would you run away with me? don't say yes, run away now. they are the hunters we are the foxes, and we run. all there's left to do is run. voted most likely to run away with you. oh you never thought i'd run.
And adding to this, I’m sure Daisy May is what she’s calling her past self, like, so long Daisy May/ goodbye old me
Hey @taylorswift I’m anticipating a Tumblr return soon.
So hi for that day! We missed you 👋🏻🪻🌻🌹🌷
Has anybody ever done a deep dive on the parallels between Taylor Swift and Daphne du Maurier?
I am convinced Ivy is from the POV of a mother and the love she has for her daughter, Ivy.
It explores her imagining her growing up, saying she will protect her and come to her in any circumstance, but ultimately grieving for the day she will move out and be her own person and find a love of her own, someone she might love just as much as her mother.
I’m not one to type out a whole analysis but this is all I can think about when listening to it. Anybody else?
in honour of sntv coming out in just 10 days reblog this if you're an active taylor swift blog, my dash is so silent rn!
