I wish the Ghost in Felwinter’s helm was actually elaborated on outside of the one instance of Efrideet telling him to take it out and the implication that somehow Felwinter can use it as a secondary source of sight. Did the Ghost itself offer to be a second pair of eyes for Felwinter? Did it just verbally warn him of danger or was it a version of the normal Ghost to Lightbearer connection? Could it even talk in the first place, or was it too damaged? Maybe it was so damaged all it could do was see, and that’s why it’s never mentioned further. Maybe Felwinter forced it to do that for him. Was part of Felwinter’s choice to do use the Ghost part of an intimidation tactic? Where did he even get that idea in the first place? What was all that about for real

Rasputin, the Tyrant, and his son, Felwinter.

I've had this sitting around in my WIP folder for ages, but the News™️ pushed me to finally finish it. I wanted to send Destiny off with something focused on Rasputin since he's one of my favorite characters of all time, and, well...

A theme of grief, of losing something so suddenly that the impact doesn't truly hit until it's already done, that seems pretty apt right now. I have a lot more thoughts on what Destiny means to me, but for this post, I'll keep it to that.
