silence envelopes the general for a beat. intense blues scan the holo-battle sene before them: invisible particle beams seeking and homing in the chests of clones and droids alike. they fall, they die. left there, unmoving, as the chaotic future around them progresses.

his gaze flicks from one crumbling silhouette to another on the projected hologram, scanning for any hint at the ATTEMPTED victory. half-lidded, dreary eyes blink heavily with exhaustion at the scene laid out in front of him & a sigh escapes his lips wearily at the kind of picture he was not made for. the kind that makes him feel as though his chest is constricted around his heart. ❛ i am confident about the ( o u t c o m e ). just not about a preferable process. ❜

▂ ▃ ▄ debate? debate that murderers can walk free in this world without a moment of worry? is it debate — is it right of us to let these people make more orphans out of children? children who will never meet their father. their mother. children, who are supposed to be the future, but can’t even find themselves… and if they can’t find themselves, if they have no lead, how are they supposed to be the future? ha. well, i suppose, without a doubt, there will be a future. perhaps not the one you and i dream of. perhaps not the one that it should be. there’s no such thing as a perfect world, but just — just for one second i want to feel peace. i want to feel at peace with myself. i have already felt loss. i have felt loss the moment i was born, though i had no name for it then. if it’s a war inside of me, then the quickest way out is to die.
❛ nothing i could do or say can really make up for my beliefs. if you have chosen a path to follow, it will be difficult to sway you from it. it is not in my nature to judge the fairness of the punishment criminals get , but what i can judge is the way they make themselves feel. ultimately, you have to know what you want to feel in the end. is it revenge you are seeking? by following this vendetta? or is it peace? because one can not be if the other exists simultaneously. just like revenge doesn't substitute peace , and the other way round. are you certain there is no other way ? ❜
