your cat Lao and cat Liu art made me think of cat dad Raiden. The kind who would say "I don't want a cat" and the next day he's on the sofa reading while his cats are laying on him
(I got inspired for a story for cat dad Raiden)
Raiden is an older gentleman living alone in The country side, him being The houses only occupant since his elderly Bengal cat Kung Lao or as some Times he was Called Kung Lao The great passed away do to old age few years Back.
Fujin being worried about his brothers increasing lonelyness decided to surprise him with a new Bengal kitten from The same breeder Raidens previous cat was from, The kitten Even having The same rare coat color.
While appriciating The gesture but he wasent so sure about having a new cat, especially when it turned out that Kung Lao II had a very different personality to Kung Lao The great.
The kitten was wild, playfull and full of energy, wanting to play every given moment, swiping at Raidens feet as he passed by and climing on every surface in The House. Yet Even when he calmed down he wouldn't lay on dads lap to purr and Be petted.
For a Time Raiden concidered getting Lao rehomed to a family that could keep up with him, but he was stopped from going trough with it by The kitten being so Happy to see him every Time he came home. He'd run up to him meowing loudly and would rub against his legs, clearly adoring his human dad and Raiden couldnt break The kittens heart.
So he stuck with it and to his surpside things would change when one Day while getting groceries he heard noices coming from a dumpster, upon investigating he found a small orange tabby meowing sadly within.
After Taking The poor kitten to a vet he decided to Foster The little Guy until he'd find someone who'd like to adopt him, naming The little tabby Liu Kang.
But Liu Kang would never get adopted, for as soon as he and Lao were introduced to each other Raidens House became his forever home.
The two kittens became bonded to one Another. They would play together, sleep together, Chase Bugs around The House together and Liu Kang would cuddle up to Lao as The Bengal would attempt to groom The tabbys fluff.
And Liu Kang would Even come and lay on Raidens lap, truly The best outcome for all as Raiden loves his fluffy sons.
(Raiden would eventualy come to adopt Kung Jin, but thats a story for Another Time)
