I'm here for nothing more and nothing less than to love writing, JoongDunk and writing for JoongDunk☺️
I used to write lifestyle blogs here but from now on, I'll use it to share short JoongDunk stories and story links to ao3 and Wattpad where a lot more of my longer JoongDunk stories already reside. I've been writing JoongDunk fanfics for two years now.
I also have another tumblr where I blog about writing in general, and give writing advice, motivation and tips.
The knife was meant for Kay. Phat took it instead. Now between fight lessons, shared cigarettes, stolen lollipops, and unspoken words, something undeniable grows between them.
Notes:
This fanfic is basically episode 5 but romantic. Me literally taking the 'B' out of the KayPhat bromance. Some scenes from the episode despite being 'platonic' were so nice that I kept them and added a lot more romantic stuff that my delulu brain came up with.

-Story Snippet-
Kay changes quickly, pulling on a simple shirt and jeans. He catches a glimpse of himself in the mirror, runs a hand through his hair, and then stops.
Why does he care how he looks?
“Stop it, Kay. What the fuck?!” He shakes his head and heads downstairs.
Phat is leaning against his car when Kay steps out of the building. “Shall we?” Kay says
"You smell nice," Phat comments. "What's that?"
Kay’s eyebrows knit and looks down at his outfit as if he can see the scent on himself. He's not sure what Phat is talking about.
Phat looks at him amusedly, a small smile playing on his lips.
"Something," Kay says, feeling oddly self-conscious. "I don't know. I use a combination of... stuff."
"Okay." Phat nods. "Good combo."
Kay looks away and stifles and smile, not prepared for the way that compliment settles in his chest. He hasn’t been noticed that way in entirely too long, and Phat is the last person he expected to get that from.
Kay’s attention gets drawn towards the white sweater Phat is wearing. It’s clean and simple and makes him look less severe, younger somehow, like less like a cop and more like someone Kay might want to know more about.
"While we're giving compliments," Kay begins awkwardly, looking anywhere but at Phat's face, "you look... white is nice on you."
Phat looks down at the white sweater he’s wearing, a pleased smile tugging at his lips. He's happy to receive the compliment and happier that he happens to have a good number of white sweaters and shirts in his wardrobe.
"Thanks,” Phat says. You drive?"
Kay blinks, distracted by the change in topic. "Hm?"
"Can you drive a car?" Phat clarifies.
Kay looks at Phat's car then nods his head slowly.
Phat tosses his car keys toward Kay, who catches them awkwardly.
"Why?" Kay asks with uncertainty.
"Why not?" Phat rounds to take the passenger seat, moving carefully, still mindful of his injury.
Kay grimaces as he opens the driver's door. "It's been a while, so..." He slides into the seat, adjusting it to fit his shorter frame. "Keep that in mind."
***
Kay drives so slowly that Phat is convinced a baby pram could overtake them.
"Kay," Phat says, his voice strained. "Are we moving or are we just... existing in traffic?"
"I told you it's been a while for me," Kay fires back with mock calm. "And you still insisted."
"I didn't think you'd drive so slowly." Phat gestures at the road ahead. "Who drives like this?"
Kay's hands grip the steering wheel tighter. "I just want to be careful. Learn to be patient, Inspector." He glances at Phat briefly, then back at the road. "We'll still get there. You're such a baby with the instant gratification."
Phat's jaw drops. He stares at Kay, utterly affronted. "What did you just call me?"
Kay sees the look and deliberately ignores it, keeping his eyes fixed on the road. There's a small, satisfied smile on his lips.
"Are you calling me impatient?"
"I'm saying you rush into things," Kay replies, his voice mild. "You don't like to wait. You want everything now, immediately, without any build-up."
There's a beat of silence in the car. Phat's eyes narrow.
"I don't rush," he says, his voice dropping lower. "I know exactly what I'm doing. I take my time."
Kay's eyebrow lifts. "Do you? Because from where I'm sitting, it seems like you just want what you want and go for it. No finesse."
Phat turns in his seat to face Kay properly. "There's nothing wrong with being fast. Some people appreciate that kind of directness."
Kay hums, noncommittal. "And some people prefer to savor things. To take it slow. To build up to the moment instead of just-" he gestures vaguely with one hand, "-barreling through. There’s enjoyment in everything. Take your time."
Phat stops and frowns, aware suddenly, of the double meaning that’s in this conversation. Kay is talking about driving, about patience, about wanting things now…it all sounds like something else altogether.
Phat stops himself right there before his unexpectedly dirty mind goes further, because what-the-fuck?!
"Are you saying," Phat asks, "that I'm too... forward?"
Kay's fingers tap against the steering wheel. "I'm saying that some things are better when you let them unfold naturally."
Phat looks at Kay's profile. He's beautiful like this, Phat realizes. In the dim light of the car, focused and calm.
"Either way the job gets done.” Phat says, now really aware of what this sounds like. He’s surprised Kay hasn’t noticed. Or has he?
"Maybe I like the chase.” Kay replies, “But I also like someone who knows how to wait."
Okay that time Kay actually notices it too, the direction the conversation is taking, and he stops talking. He clears his throat. "We're almost there."
Phat doesn't reply, and just watches Kay drive, wondering how a conversation about driving turned into something that sounds a lot like a confession….among other things.
Summary: Inspector Phat's murder case has a strange clue: his boyfriend Kay's signature on a sketch found at the crime scene. Now Phat must play the role of a devoted fan at Kay's crowded event to get his answers.

He looks at Phat, "How did you know I wanted these?"
Phat shrugs, pretending to be casual. "I know you."
Kay stares at him with obvious doubt.
"What?" Phat says, playfully defensive. "It's not impossible. I pay attention."
"Hm." Kay looks back at the pens, still smiling. "What's the truth, Phat?"
Phat blinks at him, his expression becoming dry. "The shopkeeper said any artist would love this."
"Ah." Kay grins. "There it is."
"Hey." Phat looks away, all sulky. "At least I buy you gifts.”
"Do you have to throw shade?" Kay asks in playful outrage. "I try too. I cooked for you."
"Mac and cheese."
"It was good mac and cheese."
"It was." Phat is smiling again.
They stand there, just smiling at each other with stars in their eyes. Then Kay glances down at the pens again and says, "Thanks... for the gift. Really. It's the best." Kay takes a quick look around then leans in and kisses Phat’s cheek briefly.
Phat stands there blushing for a whole moment before he catches himself and clears his throat. "Apart from me being a sweet boyfriend, consider it payment. I need your help."
Prince Tin and Captain Phob are on opposite sides of a brewing revolution; one fighting to preserve the old regime, the other determined to tear it down. When they clash publicly, it's to debate, when they meet in private, they give into the yearning they've both been fighting, and nothing will ever be the same.
A Mr. Kill fluffy fanfic wherein Phat lets himself into Kay's apartment, feeds him, and puts him to bed, but not before Kay has a chance to take care of him too.
This is my first KayPhat fic and it's mostly just plotless fluff. I'm totally in love with DewTee and KayPhat, so there's many more fics to come later.
Episode 6 gave me so much anxiety. Kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. Don't get me started on episode 7 preview. I needed to write this very cheesy, very soft and disgustingly romantic domestic bliss fic to heal from all that anxiety.
It's basically them being gorgeous and domestic in their cute little house, scenes the show couldn't include but I wanted to see.

Story Snippet
"Your posture is dreadful," Dunk says, and his voice is still pleasant, still soft, but a tone beneath it makes Joong's spine stiffen immediately. "You’ve been slouching for the entire ceremony and I watched you. Everyone watched you. My grandmother asked me if you had a spinal condition and I had to lie and say no, you just have terrible habits."
Joong blinks at him so caught off guard. "What?"
"Your tie is also crooked and I fixed it twice before we walked in and you somehow managed to ruin it again. How? How do you ruin a tie twice in one hour? It's a piece of fabric, Joong. It goes around your neck and you knot it. There are instructions on the internet."
"I don't-"
"Just so you know, the restaurant you took me to last month," Dunk continues, his voice miraculously stayed at a pleasant murmur, "the one you thought was so impressive with its tiny portions and enormous prices. I hated it. I hated every single thing about it. The lighting was terrible, the chairs were uncomfortable, and they served me a piece of fish that was smaller than my palm and charged us seven thousand baht for the privilege. Seven thousand baht. For a fish that probably died of loneliness because it was so small and couldn’t make friends. I wanted to leave after the appetizer but I smiled and nodded because my mother told me to be nice."
Joong stares at him, his mouth slightly open. "But you said you loved it."
"I lied," Dunk says pleasantly. "I’ve been lying to you since the day we met because my family told me I needed to secure this alliance and that meant being sweet and agreeable and letting you think you were getting a gentle little omega who would never challenge you.”
Dunk gives the most evil smirk he’s ever seen on…anyone, then continues, “But the papers are signed now, Joong. The ink is dry, so we are going to have a conversation about everything you have done wrong since our families introduced us, and you are going to listen."
