Hi really big fan of your writing would it be ok if I request yandere Deuce who wishes that Yuu/reader stays in twisted wonderland with him (been rewatching the TWST events and I’m currently watching wish upon a star event ) please 🙏 if you wanna change anything; you can do 🫶
Notes and warnings) injury to reader (minor), pretty terrible writing, mild yandereness. Deuce is just too cute... even when he's about to break your hands... sigh...
Hanging all 300 of the wishing stars that won Deuce his bet was a lot more work than you signed up for. Then again, you never really sign up for these jobs… You sigh, something small compared to the massive tree before you.
“So, Deuce, when are you gonna hang your own wishin’ star?” Grim tilts his head, flames flicking.
Deuce’s eyes go wide for a moment before touching his hand to his face, “Gosh, I was so busy getting everyone else’s that I forgot about my own.”
Trey crosses with arms with a confident smile, “Same, actually. We might as well hang ours up while we’re here.”
“Good idea… um…” He crosses his arms, blue eyes cast aside to you. “...Why don’t you go first, I don’t remember you making a wish. As a stargazer, I should get everyone else’s wishes first, right?” He smiles at you expectantly.
“Ah…” You start, glancing at Grim, “Well, I let Grim have it.”
Deuce frowns, “What do you mean?”
“They’re technically one student, remember?” Trey shakes his head and pushes his glasses up. “They only get one star.”
Deuce’s eyes narrow, “That’s not exactly fair…”
To avoid him pouting or some major thing, you just brush him off with the best smile you can muster, “It’s okay, I don’t mind it.”
It doesn’t seem to make him feel better, but it does sooth whatever was irritating him. Trey gives you a sideway glance before making his attempt, “See, they don’t mind. Go on and make a wish.”
Deuce turns the star over in his hands, a cheek puffed out rather cutely in thought. “...I kind of want to save it, you know, for later.” He shyly looks away, ears red.
“There’s nothing to be embarrassed about, Deuce Spade!” Ortho beamed, hands folded eagerly at his sides. “Everyone has a wish!”
“Mm… I just… want to save it. Say it with my mom, later.” He asserts, a determined look on his face.
The group share glances before the group passes on to making Idia say his piece, Ortho’s too, then dismissing. Trey sends Grim and you back to Ramshackle, deciding you’d done enough as non-stargazers. The sky was slowly turning a soft pink hue, the yellow sun lowering behind the fences of NRC. Grim was a chatterbox, something you were grateful for and at times deeply annoyed by. Ringing interrupted his ramblings about what you’d make him for dinner (not that he says it that way, but you know that’s what he means), and you reach into your bag. Feeling past the ghost camera, you grab your phone and answer, “Yellow?”
“Wait, ah, hold on Trey! It’s um- my mom! She forgot to ask me something, just give me a moment-”
You roll your eyes at Grim, mouthing Deuce’s name when he asks who it is. “Oh! Lemme talk to him! I haven’t used the phone in FOREVER.”
“-Hey! Are you still there?”
“Mhm, did we forget something?” You ask, holding Grim away from the phone with your leg.
“Mrrah! Not fair!”
“Nono!” Deuce reassures you, “I- um- can you meet me at the tree tonight? Trey had an emergency and had to leave early, the Shroud duo took it as a sign to cut the net and go home. I could really use the help.”
Raising a brow at Grim, “Um, I don’t think Grim would go for that, but-”
“Oh, that’s fine, I just want you to come.”
“...” Grim’s complaining about the phone turns to grumbling at your feet, “It just seems so sudden, but I guess I can come for a little while.”
“That’s great! Thank you! I’ll see you soon.” He hangs up enthusiastically, leaving you with a fed up dire-beast.
The massive tree behind the school building is truly a sight to behold, something even more true at night. A clear sky shimmers above you, the blue-light of the wishing stars blending into the inky abyss of the sky like it was drawing you closer: a lure.
“I was worried you weren’t going to come,” Deuce sighs a breath of relief as he jogs up behind you, the jingling of his stargazing robes alerting you to his presence before he speaks. He smiles brightly at you, a darkness cast over the two of you. He looms closer and eagerly puts a wishing star in your hands. His warm hands enclose around yours, the star in the middle. “I want you to have my wishing star this year.”
You frown a little at that, “But, what about your wish?”
He looks down, face flushing a shade of pink, “Ah, that’s okay. I’ve made plenty, and I can make another one next year.”
Deuce looms over you, his shadow enclosing around you. He smiles at you like you’re the one hanging stars in the sky, and you return his smile. People were rarely kind at this school, “Deuce… thank you, for always being kind to me. Even from the beginning…”
You look down and with a hopeful heart, and a grin, you make your wish, “I want to go ho-”
“Not that.” He sneered immediately, his grip becoming painful. His eyes lose shine and he glares at the star like he’d snap it. While it’s in your hands.
“-owch! D-Deuce! Stop!” You hiss, trying to rip your hands away only for the spikes to dig in deeper. Under the pressure of the honor student’s strength, it felt like the spikes were pushing apart the bones in your palms. He breathes a sigh of relief after it remains dim, but seems startled by the tears brought to your eyes by his hands. Deuce crumbles like a kicked puppy. You both drop the star, and it rolls away on its spikes.
“H-hey, I’m…” He sighs, cusses and rubs his face, “Listen, I just- I didn’t want the star to take that wish!”
He grabs your forearms and you gasp, which only makes him feel even more guilty. “Don’t jump like I’d hurt you!”
His blue eyes sparkle a little as he pulls you in closer, from possible tears or at the closeness between the two of you? Hard to tell, “You just- you can’t say things like that to me!”
He sucks in a sharp breath, bottom lip trembling. Your eyes go wide, is this asshole about to start actually crying over crushing your hands?
His digits massage into your skin as they slide down your arm, to your hands, rubbing your palms to sooth you. A softness fell over his face, “I need you, you- you can’t go away, okay?”
“So just, wish for something else, alright?” Deuce sniffles, smiling at you again. He held onto one of your hands as he retrieved the wishing star. He pushes it back into your hands, his clasping around yours once again. Encaged, you offer the wish back to him, gently pushing it towards him. “No, this is your wish, what will you tell your mom when she asks what you did with it?”
His hands don’t budge, his grasp stronger than you ever realized, “I’ll tell her that I gave it to a good friend, she’ll be happy that I’m making… friends.”
You sigh, looking down at the dark star, hands still throbbing. You try not to cry, thinking of another wish that wouldn’t upset him… you didn’t want to lie to him.
He thumbs circles into your wrists, sighing, “I guess, I just wish you’d be here next year, so you could make your own wish.”
The star comes to life, a bright blue shine illuminating both of you in the dark of night. “....oh.”
He frowns, “Don't be so disappointed, it’s a good wish, right? For both of us?” He looks down at you like a puppy seeking a treat.
You don’t look up at him. All you can see is your future swirling around in his hands like a fish of light in a bowl surrounded by darkness.
Do we think some of the twst girlies would sort of like, weaponize the month?
Like Cater asks you to act like her girlfriend because everyone is posting their partner and she feels left out. So she gets to call you her girlfriend and post cute (staged) pictures of you being couple-y. And when June ends and you think it’s probably over, she pulls the rug out from under you. After all, her followers think your such a cute couple! Can you really disappoint thousands of people like that and break her heart?
Or Idia, who asks you to beta test a game for her. It’s like the Sims, but more gender neutral friendly -I’m thinking something like Pocket Love, made by Hyperbeard-. You think it’s just a cute little game where you decorate a house and stuff, but deep in the code, she put a sort of back door to spy on your device (is it like, super clear I have no clue how coding and stuff works?). She keeps tabs on everything you do in the game. What style of furniture you decorate the house with, the clothes you buy from the little store, how often you open the app. All information on her darling is good info! And if you design your partner to look like anything but her…. She’ll correct it. Suddenly the partners appearance would glitch and turn blue, or wear headphones or black clothes
Or Riddle taking the month way too seriously. This is her first pride month out as a lesbian, and it’s a bit overwhelming. Rules are her bread and butter, so she will study the rules of being queer and get an A in being a lesbian. An achievable thing and reasonable to want, or however the meme goes. On June first, she’ll show up with her nails cut short and wearing a flannel, at least two carabiners, incase something happens to the first one, with her hair in a low ponytail (she had thought short hair was required, but she didn’t have the heart to buzz her beautiful hair off). But then there’s you! And your so…. Out there, surely you have more experience in the community, so she needs you to be her guide! Show her around the gayborhood. Teach her the codes of hankerchiefs and carabiners and all that stuff that queer people use to send messages to each other. And if she learns something about your personal preferences in a woman…. Well, like she said, she’s going to get an A in what she puts her mind too
That last one got longer than I meant for it to 😅. I just feel there’s so much to do with all of these hella fine girls!
all very true, so just to add to this:
ace begins whinging about her singlehood way before the clock strikes twelve, and the mock pity party she's throwing for herself goes on for weeks, a sly comment slipped in here and there in an underhanded attempt to bullshit you into giving her a kiss. or something more substantial than a kiss, actually—she's always been quite audacious. when the whinging gets her no such sympathy make-out sesh—nor a kiss, she pivots to the good old "it was all a joke anyway" bit of hers: after all, it's not like she needs your help in the dating department. in fact, if she wasn't stuck picking up after clueless, magicless you, she would totally be picking girls up left and right, so, in a way, shouldn't you try to pay her back for her troubles...? she manages to keep up her pathetic grovelling and empty boasting for the duration of the whole month, and the rate at which she alternates between the two is almost commendable. almost.
vil considers commercialisation of a community event tactless and graceless, so in lieu of cheap chain-store merch it is an artistic tribute that she prepares, a thematic project for her film club to work on for the duration of the month. as usual, she is nothing if not thorough: in picking out the scenes to recreate, you scour more vaguely homoerotic movies with her in those few weeks than you ever have in your lifetime, and in trying to satiate her craving for perfection, you do more retakes than you would have considered possible—or ethical—prior to getting involved in this project of hers. ultimately, though you are a bit ashamed to admit it, looking back on your pride month, what you recall is not the final cut of vil's tasteful masterpiece, but all the hours of getting kissed stupid between the takes. this, of course, is entirely on you: you should have known there's nothing she wouldn't do in the name of the craft.
lilia has such a nasty smile on her face as she gears up to approach you that you have no doubt: in spite of the "woe is me" tone, she is more than pleased to torture you with her ceaseless interrogations. if she was truly as devastated by not knowing what a "pillow princess" is as she claims to be, she could have just looked it up on her glittery, sparkly, fully functional phone. you must conclude that she's only pulling you into this awkward, uncomfortably graphic conversation to get a laugh at your expense, and, in a way, you are proven right—she is having fun flustering you. it's just that she is also probing for weak spots and odd slips of the tongue, fantasies you are uncomfortable with and sexual pursuits you are squeamish about. the giggling around and the quips are there, too, but what this has always been about is testing your boundaries. if led by the hand into uncharted land, how far will you go? that's the question she'd like an answer to.
love your writing ! I was wondering are you accepting request? If so do you have any does and don't ?
Thank you sm! I was so worried about being rusty;;;
I do!! I was actually thinking about doing an ask list with characters with quotes/phrases but I wasn't sure if I'd be speaking to the void. I just don't really LOVE writing yandere reader insert but if I like the concept enough I might still write it!
I haven't kept up with a blog in a looooong time so I'll be figuring it out along the way! I'll add future (yes/no)s in my pinned post as I come across them. I'm very open minded!
The boys who accidentally overhears Yuu singing on multiple occasions and now thinks they’re a lyrical genius— but it’s just some songs we’ve memorized from our world 😭
I’ve started playing creepy creepy love (remake) recently and I’m imagining Floyd, Jade, Sebek, maybe even Jack going behind your back to beat the absolute crud out of the people that try to make themselves more useful than them…
notes) mentions of death, violence, yandere-ness... I'm horrible at tagging
You vent to Floyd about your worries, “What if I fail P.E.? I’ll be grounded all summer!”
“What a bummer, I’m sure you can get those grades up, Shrimpy!” If not, he can just break you out of your house. Not like it’d be hard or anything. He’s not worried, nothing you’ve said changes his access to you anyways… until some other guy offers to start jogging with you. “To boost our stamina, together!” Floyd doesn’t miss the flush on his cheeks when he says this to you the way it seems to go rigggght over your head. When the other guy doesn’t back down from simple threats? Oh, it’s not ‘meet me behind the school in 40 minutes’, it’s Floyd dragging his ass to the nearest alleyway and breaking his teeth against the brick walls.
Next thing you know, you’re getting invited to every basketball practice, and he’s spending the entire time wearing you out so you don’t have the energy to talk to other guys anymore. Plus, your grades will surely improve! Bonus~!
You vent aloud about your stressors to a local stray, it’s fur shedding as you pet it soothingly. “Ugh, my teacher says I’ve missed too many classes, what happens if I can’t wake up sooner? Will I have to retake the entire year?” You sigh dejectedly, scratching the kitty under its chin.
Before Jade can step out and lend a hand, some scrawny girl rushes up to you and points to the cat, “I’m sorry, but I couldn’t help but overhear you! I’m (insert name Jade can’t be bothered to remember), I think we live near each other! If you want, I can walk you to class in the morning! That way, you won’t be late anymore.” She smiles sweetly and pushes her glasses up her face, hands then clasped behind her bashfully.
Well, her hands are gonna stay that way forever after Jade ties her up, and fills her belly with stones so she sinks properly when he throws her into the ocean. At first, he wasn’t sure it was necessary, but a civil discussion turned a bit too salty for his tastes. Don't worry, he'll walk you to and from school, to ensure your grades and safety, of course. No other reason.
Reading in the library with your friend as her tutor, some bookworm named Sebek, quizzes you on the same material. You sigh, “It’s just no use, I can’t read all this material in time…” Of course, Sebek’s encouragement is all-consuming and has the librarian kicking the three of you out, only to run into the well-read student body president, “Hey, our teacher wanted me to give you this study material, wanna go over it together sometime?” You exchange numbers, only for him to insult you randomly that night and block you in the same breath. Sebek is the first to reassure you, even before your friend, boasting about how now that they’ve moved away, he can take their role as your tutor. Asking about your friend gets you no-where, as she suddenly has great grades and seems like she’s avoiding the green-haired guy… maybe some people just can’t handle his volume? Poor thing! Weird though, that guy was awfully clingy for someone about to move away...
Helping out your boyfriend with the gardening club, becoming flustered and slapping his hand away when he compares certain flowers to erm... your flower in front of everyone. Jack isn't one to publicly defend you, not when it would frighten you. Like his beloved cactus plants do to many, his needles will prick your fragile skin.
He can't allow that to happen. Can't allow gross rats like this guy dirty you, especially when you're too sweet to take the disrespect seriously. Well, he's sure your... flower is very pretty, but he's gonna knock this guys lights out for openly talking about it like it was nothing that he had the privilege of seeing it in the first place...
He really didn't intend to kill the guy, but since it was done... he'd read about murder mysteries where they bury the body in the garden, maybe he should try it out? He's sure you would love you would love to learn about his plant hobby, maybe even help him fertilize the newly potted ones?
Warnings) Animal death, side character death, description of internal organs being erm.. on the outside... dark content/thought process, depiction of bullying - sexual assault? No noncon or anything, just really hardcore bullying. Yandere?? Wrote this in one go so I'm sorry if it's awful </3
Epel who took his anger, shame, humiliation from all the bullying back home and turns it on the local wildlife. He started out with the habit of kicking trees. The thick, hardy wood of his family's apple trees was as stubborn as he is, always withstood his wrath.
The birds nest resting in this particular tree, however, would crumble. It fell out of the tree, but that's not when he noticed. He felt the crunch under his boot as he switched kicking feet before his brain registered what it was. Chest heaving, he looked down to see red stains seeping through the snow. The blood made it hard to tell what kind of bird it was, a bronze belly and baby grey feathers poking out the top of its head. He scowled at the cute, pink guts spewing from it's mouth from how he'd stepped on it.
More like stomped. Again. And again. Again and again. The other was still crying, skrill chirping as if whining about the cold snow. It burns against your skin, his eyes burn at the memory of that older boy holding his face against the icy snow, his knees digging into the soft spots of his back while his friends held his other limbs down. He remembered the way their hands felt as they reached under his clothes, yanking them off and promising to throw them down the well in the middle of town. What friends would they be if they couldn't help Epel prove to the whole town that he was a real man?
"Not that it'll help much, look how fucking small his dick is," The oldest boy kicked him in the ribs as he laid in fetal to protect himself, blue eyes burning his stupid face to memory. "Might as well be a girl, maybe we should cut it off for her."
Epel couldn't feel his fingers when they finally got tired of ridiculing him, laugher dying in the distance. His skin burned, limbs trembling uncontrollably. It'd taken him until the sky was as red as his skin and the pale moon was shining to get home. His fingers hurt when he tried to move them, grasping the knob to the side door and praying his grandparents were asleep.
They couldn't manage to stay awake for him, usually. They showed they loved him through the food they'd cook and leave for him. Apple pies, slices of apple rolled into floral shapes. He ate it with his hands, to warm them up. So, he scooped up the little, crying, annoying, damned thing and took it inside to warm it up.
You look just like that little bird. The still panicked, aware bird. Bronze, grey hair with that underlying blue, those beady, black eyes. The way you'd tilt your head at him, as if examining him with one dark eye at a time. He imagines his hands around your throat, gently cradling like he did when brought that little bird inside the farmhouse. His grandparents had praised his good deed, telling him that they were proud to raise a caring young man. They didn't need to know it was to make up for all of the birds he'd started smashing. He got good at throwing rocks, hitting, digging into those soft spots that hurt the most.
The worst of it was because he was impulsive. Epel hated the word, getting called it for fighting back. For holding back the rage until the glass bottle of his emotions shatter so he could use the sharp ends to cut those around him. It was their fault for standing so close.
Which is what he basically tells you when you see your 'guy friend' get pelted with a stone to the side of his skull. Epel follow the sickening crack of your friend's very precise knock-out.
"He is just knocked out, right?!" You freak out, running up to your friend. Epel walks over more casually than you would have liked, as you shook the unconscious guy in a panic. "What the hell is wrong with you? Did you do that on purpose?"
The short guy looks wounded, holding up his arm defensively. "Of course not! I was just letting off steam!"
His lavender hair jossles as he shakes it, arms lifted in a shrug, "I didn't know people came through this way."
Epel pet your head too affectionately for your liking as you checked over his wounds, "Epel, help me carry him to the E-"
Your vision goes black for a second, head spinning. You register your friend's body getting suddenly dragged out of sight. Black dots littered your line of sight, hands shaking as you touch the back of your head, hand coming back with glossy red stains.
Your ears almost hurt at the sound of a wet crunch, and you sit up with great effort. Fingers curling in the dirt, stomach curling in on itself because Epel stood over your friend. The heel of his boot was inside the skull, skin and bone dented inwards grossly. A string of blood connected it to Epel's boot as he kicked again, and again.
He was panting, almost red in the face when he turns back to you, alarmed that you were awake.
"Ah hell, yeu wern't 'supposed to see that, birdie." He cooed, blood dotting his cheeks like freckles. His smile was bright as the snow, those eyes crawling into your soul and crushing you against the ground where you lay. He cradled your head, talking sweetly at you before bashing your skull into the dirt. Not as hard as he could, just to knock you out. He'd brew up something to make you forget all this, and take you back to his farmhouse. Just his little bird and his family.
Part of me wants to say no cause the existence of beast man, merfolk, fae, etc. Plus the most we get about characters being creeped out by others in game is more just general vibes and not because there uncanny to them. Then again, it’s possible that they’re just enough ‘human’ that it doesn’t trigger. What about overblots? Are those uncanny? Cause you’re watching around someone you know get pulled around like a puppet on a string?
does Yuu trigger a bit of uncanny valley at first? Cause they’re human, but not from this world. They move in ways that just feel slightly off, their voice doesn’t sound right at first, something looks wrong with them if you stare for just long enough. Eventually its stops triggering in the main cast cause they know Yuu is harmless. However during the beginning were they creeped out by Yuu? By someone from another world looking human but just doesn’t feel like one?
