(Well, what a awesome turn of events. Lynne had been investigating the island as per usual - and she’d somehow managed to actually find Sophia and talk to her. That alone was an honour in itself: to talk to a god?
Woah, talk about lucky. There’d been a few people ahead of her talking to Sophia, she had noted - and they were asking about things. Well, since her important detective’s notepad had been missing ever since she came here…it wouldn’t hurt to politely ask for it back.
It would sure make investigations a lot simpler, given she’d been trying to keep all the information she knew in her head without said notepad up to this point, which was possible, yes…but she mentally forgot a lot of the information there or mixed facts up.
Any detective knew a written note was far better than memory to remember things, so…though she’d been a little nervous on the inside regarding talking to the goddess, Sophia was just as nice as one would guess a goddess who brought folks here to ‘save’ them to be.
The god seemed to approve of her manners and ‘respectable and noble’ persona, and thought such investigations exciting - and informed Lynne that if she went back to her house, down the hallway, into her room and looked in the top drawer of the dresser, she would find the notepad - with an extra gift. Lynne grinned enthusiastically at this, saying a cheerful:)
Thanks so much, really! Now I’m going to go get my notepad you bought back for me!
(The grateful words aside, Lynne began to skip merrily back to her ‘house’ for the notepad, in high spirits indeed. )
Kazune had been in the library in the House of Wisdom for a few hours now, studying what little bits of Arcadios he could. He'd gotten the geography down--well, at least what had been explored and charted, and learned a bit more of the reason they were brought here. What intrigued him most about this world--the moonless sky--was not listed in any book he'd come across yet, however.
Sighing, he closed the few books he had and returned them to the shelves, heading out for the living room area. Perhaps the blonde should weave his way into the House of Strength so that he could be there when Karin awoke...
It was then that a familiar figure caught Kazune's attention as he entered the lounge, hands pocketed.
"--Lynne?" he blinked a few times. She seemed... ecstatic. "Did you discover something new, or--?"
He was quite curious, to say the least. After all, it was this same girl who had provided Kazune with a lot of information initially.
