hey hey hey! thought I'd share some of my... well you already know what it's gonna be so let's just skip to the list.
before that, i'll make some things clear and that i'll be ranking these based on my enjoyment and how often they update! please support these fics and authors.
this'll be like one of those "top ten obvious facts from the manga that like 99% of the whole fandom already knows" format—from the bottom to the top. however, know that all of these fics are good, and I'm just ranking them based on my enjoyment.
this is wholly my opinion!

Strange Things by Sunhorse99
the story is discontinued, as for now, and it was last updated on 2018-07-03!
it has 23566 words, 7/500 chapters and 18 kudos as of now
the plot is interesting, and i love the story and their interpretation of gabi's character!
Number 7:
Taking the Long Road by Sunhorse99
once again, the same author! the series is discontinued, and was last updated on 2018-03-28
it has 51338 words and 10/30 chapters, with 60 kudos!
i love the way the story was delivered, and they had some pretty lovable original characters as well.
Number 6:
From the Top of the Mountain by pickalily!
this. is. absolutely. adorable! it's a oneshot, and was published on 2020-12-08, with 10053 words and 153 kudos!
the writing is splendid, and the description of the things that happen are... well... crisp? i dont know how to explain lmao
but it's such a breathe of fresh air!
Number 5:
Taller Than You by pickalily
the same gosh darn author is back at it again, and this time, with an interesting plot!
it's another oneshot, published on 2021-06-12 with 8098 words and 32 kudos!
i find the whole plot of falco getting all stressed over his height to be so adorable lmao

You and Me at the End of the World by pickalily
gosh darn it. pickalily back at it again with another awesome falbi fic, and i enjoyed this wayyy more than the other two because im a sucker for plots
yet another oneshot, but just as good as the others. i love their splendid writing oh my gosh

well what a coincidence, im a sucker for plots!
i have to say, i absolutely loved the idea of bad boy falco, and [redacted] was such a memorable antagonist
this is an ongoing series as of now with 16/? chapters, last updated on 2021-05-14, with 23001 words and 136 kudos
loved it.

the writing is horrific oh my god
im still halfway through the story so I don't really have much to say but so far it's awesome.
last updated on 2021-05-27, 112655 words and 20/? chapters, with 782 kudos this was one of the fics carrying the falco/gabi tag
I loved it. chefs kiss. i wanted to put this in the list after i had read it, but i was too impatient lol. great storytelling! i loved the narration.

okay listen. i am a sucker for plots. and this is entirely my opinion, but my enjoyment for this series peaked
this is a new fic, which was just started around early august and was last updated on 2021-08-15, with 22583 words, 10/? chapters and 31 kudos as of now
it may be a short read but god fucking damnit i am hooked onto the story
it also has some pretty underrated ships, such as falco/kaya, falco/udo, etc
the series is still ongoing, but i have high hopes and am looking forward towards the series! it updates frequently too
