idk guys but actual enemies to lovers sonaze au sounds pretty tempting to me........

like. they never reach an understanding. blaze holds a grudge against sonic and they fight nasty. sonic doesn't find it in himself to forgive her. blaze doesn't understand what friendship means, not just yet. (even tho she cares abt cream a little more than what she'd like to admit) she unlocks the power of the sol emeralds due to her rage and that leads to a different super form. but in order to reach her goal and save her world, she has to fight the eggmans with Sonic's help. they team up as a compromise. theur handshake at the end signifies blaze's gratitude. sonic holds on her out of pettiness, because he can see blaze doesn't enjoy it.

they meet again. they fight again. there's this mutual kind of hatred that masks their real emotions. they team up again without really wanting to. it's this back and forth. it goes on for so long that when sonic tries to be a little more friendly blaze hisses at him, surprised. it takes them a while, but they get there. some day.
