I haven’t rewatched the show in a bit, but I think that they had translations on Netflix, didn’t they? Like, when you watch with subtitles. If not, maybe try listening to the words and typing them into Google Translate? That’s all I can say. Sorry :/

I feel like in this quote "ABUELA: you always see the worst in people. PENÉLOPE: yes because people are the worst." it should be Elena the one who's answering. It feels more like her

maybe, however, im not going to change it for two reasons:

1) it’s already got too many notes it would make no difference, and also

2) i think abuela and penelope are more likely to have this conversation because i don’t think elena really sees the worst in people. she sees a lot of bad things, but she’s an optimist ultimately, and she really wants the world to be better, you know?
