Imagine you're on voice chat with your fave playing video games. You're both immersed in the game, enjoying each other's company, when you hear a low, droning burp directly in your ears.
"Ah, sorry," they say, not sounding particularly chagrined. "I've got some soda to finish off from dinner."
You manage to brush it off, glad they can't see you blushing, and continue the game. The mic is directly against your fave's mouth and you can hear every little expulsion of gas as they finish their drink. While you're both in a tense, silent part of the game, your speakers erupt with a long, bubbling fart from your fave's mic, a truly revolting noise that makes your body flush all over.
"Pardon," is all they say. Then some more quiet farts that rumble just audibly through your headset. They sigh, and mumble an "Excuse me."
You're completely distracted for the next few hours, listening for every wet belch and humid fart, always finished with a casual "Pardon," or "'scuse me". It seems nearly ridiculous, the lazy politeness in the wake of such disgusting expulsions, and you can't get over how they barely seem to acknowledge their gassy interruptions.
It comes to a head when they're in the middle of explaining the next part of the game, and just behind their voice you can hear the now-familiar rumble of a particularly long fart. It drones on and on while they talk, starting to sound greasy and gooey, until finally they grunt and force out a final, sloppy squelcher. "Ooh, fuck. Excuse me. I think I need to shit," they explain with a faint laugh, and you're glad they can't see your bright red face.
