Instead of “born male” or “born female”, say “assigned male at birth (amab)” or “assigned female at birth (afab)”. Instead of “transgenders”, say “trans(gender) people”. Instead of “transgendered”, say “trans(gender) person”.

Telling us that it’s inconvenient for you to use appropriate terminology, is essentially saying that you don’t care about us. It’s never inconvenient to be respectful.
