@jessiej has been releasing some great stuff last year and this year. She seems to just release singles and EPs as she finishes them instead of scheduling full LP album releases. Her new R.O.S.E. album EP is 🔥🔥🔥🔥. It's only 4 songs, but it's more impactful than most full LP albums. She's like a throwback artist from hundreds of years ago. There's no noticeable formula or cookie-cutter commercial process. She just creates music and visuals and then releases all of it randomly [on her social media and digital music platforms]. If you like a soulful, r&b/pop fusion that's a beautiful blend of modern and throwback styles, I'd recommend you start by getting everything Jessie J released in 2017 and 2018. Her early stuff is good too because she's talented. But it feels like she's really found herself recently and she's taking her artistry to a new level. (at San Francisco, California)
