Vio sighed as he sat on the cold floor of the store "What the heck where though thing?" He said to himself as he got up and poked his head out to see if he could see any  of them "I don't see them... Green better be okay."   he said still looking around as he clenched his first.

Green peeked out once more to see if the close was clear. He quickly ducked down once again when one of the corpses decided to step right up close to the hole. Green held his breath waiting for the thing to move. When it finally did he sighed in relief and peeked out once more. The street was filled with them. He slide down on the ground again. 'This... is a sticky situation...' he thought as he stayed low. 'I think I'll need a little bit more than ten minutes to get out of this...'

"Okay I'll listen to you but you better come back unharmed !" He gave the other a stern look before heading to the take  shelter "Oh and if you're not back in ten minutes then I'm going to go look for you."

"I'm not that careless." Green mumbled as he rolled his eyes. He regained his speed once again and checked behind himself. He began to make out a few shadows that were starting to form, at the right side he heard grunts and moans. He glanced at the corner of his eye to find corpses crawling their way up from the sewers. He growled in frustration. "Just my luck-"

Not paying attention as he ran, Green stumbled a little when a huge lump of skin almost slugged him on the right. He skidded to a halt and made a sharp left and bolted down the crumbled streets, dodging collapsed debris here and there. Quickly glancing around himself, he found a small hole under one of the buildings that if he crawled in there, he'd surely fit. Checking behind him one more time, he got on his hands and knees and slowly crawled his way into the small hole as he avoided the broken glass. Catching his breath, he poked his head up to see if the corpses were still hunting and quickly ducked his head as he held his breath. They still were, but at least he was hidden he thought as he kept his head low.

Vio was shocked at him for second "B-But..." he slows down a bit "What if something happens to you? I'll feel really guilty and a bit of a cowered just hiding while you're chancing these things off."

"Trust me on this one, Vio. I've outsmarted these guys for a long time now. You think I'll just roll over and give up now?" Green grinned back at the other. "C'mon, that's not like me to just give up after all this time. I'm a hero! I can't lose now!" Slows down a little and points ahead. 

"The convenient store is just on the left! Get inside! Hurry!"

Vio clench his one  first that  he did not have his sword in "I'M not leaving you Green, I don't care I'm not going to hide while you are still running from those things, I'm sorry I just wont!"

"Vio, use your brain for once! You're the smart one remember?!" Green shouted as he kept his speed. He gave the other a cold look at the corner of his eye. "Think for a second, Vio! I've been dealing these things a lot longer than you have! If you ever had! And I know how they are! Just stay in the convenient store until I get back! I promise you I'll be okay on my own! Besides, if you come with me it'll only make it easier for them to pinpoint where we're at! It's easier if one of us hides while the other leaves a trail- I know that sounds like a lucky shot, but it works! I haven't lost anyone to a plan like this!"

"No way!" He ran faster trying to keep up with his friend "I won't let those things attack you! If it comes down to it, I'll fight them off myself! I'm pretty good at fighting and I'm strong."

"Trust me on this one, Vio! You don't want to get mixed up with those guys! Especially the ones that are looking for me!" Green shouted still running ahead of the other. "I know you can but this isn't the same things you've fought before! These are a lot different than any monsters! I've fought these a long time and even I have a hard time with dealing just one! The convenient store is just around this corner, okay?"

Vio raised an eyebrow but soon followed behind Green "Hey! Wait up, I don't want to become someones meal!" He shouted as he drew his sword just in cause it was needed.

"Sorry, you'll just have to try and catch up! I'm kind of trying to avoid them and a few others that would follow since I'm a main target." Green called back to the other and increased his speed getting further ahead of the other. "The convenient store isn't too far from here. You can take shelter there! I'll find another place! That way, it'll confuse them!"

Vio put a hand on Green’s shoulders “Don’t worry I’m sure all of your friends are fine, don’t stress over it and remember I’ll help you find them. For now we should be worrying about staying in one piece, although I don’t see any threats.”

"True. But I worry a lot about those guys. Especially the younger ones, they always get into trouble somehow." Green sighed, he grinned. "Yeah... I think you're right about-"

He perks up and turns to the side. He narrowed his eyes at the crumbled building just across the street from where they were at. Not turning to the other, his voice was a low whisper. "Looks like it's meal time. We better hurry. We're running from this point on-" With that the boy in green took off running ahead of the other.

"Oh okay then" He scratched the back of his head "I guess you'r stuck with me for now." He chuckled slightly "But I'm sure you'll find your friend eventually."

"Would I consider him as a friend.... I do, but I don't know if he considers me one as well." Green sighed and gave a small smile. "Yeah, I guess we're stuck til I find them again. I'm actually a bit worried about that boy now... I hope he doesn't get himself into trouble.."

Vio tried putting together what Green was saying but couldn’t figure it out ‘Ugh! You’re suppose to  be the smart one Vio!’ he mentally yelled at himself  ”Maybe he knows, I really want to help you out but I just keep drawing blanks on this whole situation.”

"Probably he does. I just don't know..." Green blinked and turned to the other, a little confused. "Hm? Oh... well I'm drawing up blanks as well. Usually I can sense him through a connection but there's nothing in this area so he's not here. If that's what you're asking..?"

"Oh...." A sad frown formed on Vio's face "Maybe we should go look for him for you, you know so you guys can travel together again." He offered.

"Funny. I think if I recall.. correctly.... I was traveling with a group of people before we got separated. I think he was with the people I was traveling with.." Green hummed deep in thought. "I can't remember where they were at though before that hospital collapsed..."

"Huh? who is he?  He must be a really good friend to you." Vio tilted his head to the side "Well, I'm mean if you remember him.. Ugh sorry." He turns his head away awkwardly

"He's my other half." Green said. His voice was monotonous as he spoke to the hero in violet. Not even turning to the other he continued. "I don't remember it well... but we're the same person. Like.. more closer than the rest of you guys. Maybe because we're the same exact person, he's part of me, Green of the.... Four Swords..? But he's not technically a hero himself. He's done things as well..But he used to work for the goddess, now I don't know who he works for.. He's a confusing guy. Anyway, I know him. I travel with him and I know him well."

The young  hero looks  up at the sky to then look back at Green, smiling "Right, there's no need to dwell on the past. You just have to look forward and like you said, hope for a better future." Still looking at the other he wondered just how much pain  the poor  hero has suffered and he frowned at that thought.

"It's all I've done. It's all I can do. I can't remember the past or anything else." Green smiled sadly up at the sky. He sighed as he walked. That was all he could do. "But you know.. there is one guy I've met. He resembles me in a lot of ways. He knows things I don't and he knows more about this world than me. I wish he would tell me what to do now... "

At first Vio didn't reply or even look up from ground but after a few minutes he diced to lift his head and walk up so he was walking along side of Green "I would rather kill myself then kill one of my friends. You can think whatever you want about yourself but I still  consider you as a friend even if you have changed so much, I don't care."

Green glanced up at the other, a little taken back at Vio's word. A warm smile started to spread on his face, he nodded. "And I don't mind just that either. As long as someone still hopes and believes that a person is good no matter how horrible they've become... it still gives me hope to keep moving on. To change things for the better." He chuckled a little and looked up to the sky, still walking.

"I sometimes wonder why I talk that way so much. Maybe it's because I've met a boy who holds those same ideals that I probably once had. He's probably up there somewhere in the clouds where his kingdom lies."

"I'm not going to kill you... Its just when I met up with Red he had this looks in his eyes and I dunno.. I'm sorry I didn't mean to put you out as some murderer  its just... I don't know...I'm just going to stop talking all together." He lowered his head looking at the ground as they kept walking

"Murderer..? I don't think that describes me or any of us. Not even Red." Green chuckled as he kept his pace. He hummed, "I wouldn't care if you really did though. It just means that.. I'll just have to work on surviving again. Work on living with regret and anger with myself. But.. I don't care what you do. It's your choice, your life, yourself. Just do whatever it means to survive. That's all I can tell you."

Vio was getting   creeped out by Green's voice but didn't say anything because he didn't want to upset him any more "Alright, I do like being in one piece." He looked around nervously, getting ready to draw his sword if needed "You're not going to turn all evil on me and try to kill me, right?"

"So do I." Green smiled before he halted in his steps. He turned to the other fully a frown set upon his face, his bangs covering his eyes as he spoke. "I already have enough blood on my hands, I don't need anymore. I don't need anymore regret, I don't need to hate myself anymore than I do now. But if you feel the need, then try and kill me." He turned again and began walking.

"After all, wouldn't that punishment fit the crime?"
