y'all decayed and decrepit has me in a chokehold and it hasn't even come out yet. Anyway here are some notes on what we have so far (stuff that I haven't seen anyone talk about yet)
-First and foremost, there is this VERY helpful spreadsheet that includes all the relevant info given so far, with all references linked
-ADDITIONAL CONTENT: Spidey has made a playlist and a cinematic, Stellareyn has made 2 cinematics, Jawunleashed has made a cinematic, and Pili has made a playlist (I'll link Pili's playlist here, the rest of the content is linked in the spreadsheet). I won't be talking about any of these for now, I might add to this post or make a separate post about them later too.
-the first mention of DnD (Decayed and Decrepit) as a project was actually from Cynikka, in this tweet, where she mentions that they are working on a project similar to whitepine (a different series by Ivory, it's ongoing on youtube and if you're not familiar you should definitely check it out). At first I thought maybe this was a separate project from DnD bc Cynikka wasn't confirmed to be in it yet and Saps hadn’t mentioned whitepine as an inspo when it was first officially announced BUT Cynikka has now been confirmed to be a member and her ticket post confirms that this IS the same project - more specifically, cynikka’s lore/character is heavily inspired by whitepine, given that her character seems to struggle with amnesia. Cynikka’s original tweet implies that the whitepine influence might affect more than just her story, but we have no other evidence that supports that. Still, it might be useful to look out for more connections to whitepine when looking at other characters and their lore as well.
-While everyone else has a proper bus ticket to Paradise City in their announcement post (although some are apparently taken from someone else) Schpood and Pili are the exceptions, with Schpood having an expired ID card indicating that he LIVES in Paradise City, and Pili having art of his character + a letter addressed to "Augustus" (presumably his character???)
-Cynikka, Jophiel and ProGamerDude are the only ones without a number or letter on their ticket. In ProGamerDude's case, he doesn't have ANYTHING on his ticket, so that makes sense, but Jophiel and Cynikka's tickets are otherwise fairly normal, and have no other noticeable connections.
-According to a google search, Jophiel's quote is a quote from Genesis 3:24. I'm not Christian so I have no idea what that means but surely someone will know what to do with that information (and also if it connects to Cynikka possibly???)
-at the end of Saps’ klyx games stream, he confirmed a few CC’s to be part of DnD. Of those, three CC’s haven't made an official twt post announcing their involvement- Derapchu, Prince Zam and 4Cvit. There IS still time for any and all of them to post something about it ofc, but I'm kinda hoping they're like characters who don't have a POV but are like part of other people's lore and thats why they're not posting (mostly because I don't want to have to pick between watching Zam n Cynikka's POV lmaoooo)
-adding onto the last bulletpoint, Magic’s ticket has someone else’s name/info scribbled out - someone with he/him pronouns whose name begins with F and ends with T. My running theory is that this person is 4C (with his name being spelled Fourcvit to make it less obvious that it's him), suggesting that he has relevance in Magic's backstory/lore BUT he might not be a proper character by himself?? or (as I suggested earlier) he just won't have a POV since he doesn't have a train ticket or anything equivalent.
-stellareyn and woogie both have the symbol “C” in the corner of their ticket, suggesting a connection. Additionally, Woogie’s tweet included the quote “I will find her, no matter what it takes” - although I personally feel like “stella is the person woogie is searching for” might be too obvious of a conclusion??
-PGD's ticket mentions someone named Chuck - presumably he's someone already in Paradise City since the ticket says he can be found there. He refers to Paradise City as hell. Interestingly, Schpood's announcement implies that he is already in Paradise City, his name is scribbled out, AND he says that "God abandoned this city" which sounds very similar to referring to it as hell, no?
-realized this as I was writing the last bulletpoint, there are a suspicious amount of references to Christianity/religious themes. Like if I had a nickel for every reference, it wouldn't be a LOT, but it's weird that it happens as often as it does.
