Thank you! Sorry I’m about to launch some craft for christmas, so I’ve been spending 12 hours a day designing and making things so I haven’t had time for manips. Hopefully I’ll be back to it soon.

Hi Everyone! Earlier I received a message asking if I was interested in teaching people to do manips. I know most people don’t have photoshop and illustrator, plus its a bit hard to teach some of the skills so I’m a little unsure. However, the person mentioned they had been using pizapp but weren’t ready to post them yet. I haven’t ever tried to do manips with an app before so laying in bed at 5am I decided to try it out.  Under the cut you will find the results of my ‘experiment’. If you would be interested in me doing a tutorial on how to get something like this message me or like this post. If I get enough interest I’ll do something. I could even look at a free online alternative to the photoshop part. 

I installed the app and took two random celeb pics I had saved on my ipad (Don’t ask why I :P). I hadn’t picked these out to manip before hand like I normally do and did no editing to the originals before putting them into the app. 

Here are the originals: (Yes it’s the same two people in each photo. Ignore that :P)

I spent about 3-5 minutes in the app. (I did no tutorial or knew how to use it, I just winged it.) And this is what I came up with:

Not great, but not bad. I’m sure with a bit more care on the app you could get better results. I was half asleep and really quick and rough with it. Hence the size being off a little.

A little bit more awake, I took the picture into photoshop and within another couple of minutes I was able to get this:

Much better in my opinion. Finally with a few more adjustments, and cropping out that horrible border I ended up with:

All in all it took me about 10 minutes and I was quite impressed with the results. If you would like to learn something like this (I can’t promise you’ll get the same results I did in photoshop in the beginning) please do message me or like this.  Cheers!

So it’s just a quick visit to the blog tonight.  I have a couple more requests I will try and get to tomorrow. 

I just want to clear a few things up. I do these for fun and to learn better techniques and I love getting to create great things for you guys, but I don’t like doing the same couples over and over again. I like to work with different source material, so from now on I’m not going to do couples I already have before. Sorry! Also as I do this for fun in my spare time I like to post these on my blog so I won’t be doing any private or unsignatured. I’m sorry, but I do that sort of thing for pay on like fiver and stuff, so I really can’t do that here for free. Again I’m sorry!  I hope no one is offended or upset at this,

Kind of. I should be in bed sleeping. But I can’t right now so I’m doing some businessy stuff and some manips to keep me occupied. I could fall asleep at any point though so don’t count on me being here.
