About myself
✨ I'm a somewhat shy and socially awkward person, but I always love talking to people about things I like. Feel free to comment or message me at any time since I'm not good at starting conversation first.
✨ I like drawing, writing, and reading about interesting things. They mostly include my favorite anime, games, and fanfics. AUs are also something that I'm quite into.
❓ I'm quite out-of-the loop with trends and memes. I may be growing a bit too old for them (lol)

starkle dreams - Blanket tag for original creations that belong in my and Frionivalis (my irl friend) personal projects.
starkle corner - Posts that go into detail about OCs such as reference sheet or character info.
starkle slime - For the specific type of slime I draw. They are slimes with two arms. They also tend to have head shape that resemble hairstyles or wear signature accessories.
slime conan au - A silly little AU I made where Shinichi turned into a Starkle Slime instead of a child. And in this AU the slimes are magical pet creatures that girls think it's trendy. Every character who appears as a slime are tagged as "slime (name)"
project nolshyra - A tag encompassing all of the characters and stories in an original world I created, named Nolshyra. Currently includes phantom thief prismaria and koutoki sisters (along with each of their individual tags)

CHAPTER 1 -- THE RAINBOW SISTERS
Shinkai High
Morning
Newspapers fluttered, chatter grew and grew. The Wednesday morning breeze has brought about mystery and excitement. Within the classroom of Class 2-C of Shinkai High a gathering was formed around a desk with newspapers and a radio laid on top. Over them, in a corner, a small round TV joined in with an analog broadcast. The news grabbed the attention of the students; girls and boys, dragons and humans, and something in between. An extraordinary event was upon them. The headlines of printed, audio, and visual news all talked about the exact same topic.

Among the crowd of the class, a half-dragon girl sat contentedly with her own Dracoprint Eastern to read. Her wings slumped relaxed on the backrest of the school chair while her tail comfortably placed under the chair. Just as she flipped a page, an identical girl approached her. Their only difference is in the colors of their bow they wear on their ponytails and the accent color of their uniforms. Akako, the seated one, wore red, and the other, Midoriko, wore green.
Midoriko: [mildly amused] Everyone is talking about Prismaria.
Akako: [smirks, proudly] Of course. She’s a thief who stole the hearts of the town.
Midoriko: [chuckles] Not everyone thinks that way yet, Akako, but I bet you’re the number one fan right now.
Akako: [raises eyebrow] I’m more than a fan. You know what I mean.
Midoriko: [give Akako a back pat] Of course you are, but remember that she’s a criminal.
The red one was about to say something when they were suddenly interrupted by a half-dragon girl in the same uniform style as them. Her purple headband and short hair made her visually distinct in class full of humans, dragons, and half-dragons. She slammed her hands, six total fingers spread wide on Akako’s desk.
Sonoko: [frantic] Girls! Did you see the news on SVBC!?
Midoriko: [cheerful] Good morning Sonoko! And yes, we have!
Akako: [points at the TV in the corner] In fact, it’s still playing. Aoko and Momoko are still watching it.
Two more girls, identical to Midoriko and Akako gleefully commented on Solar Vision news reporter’s lines while playfully doing their impression of the thief. The one with the blue bow, Aoko, spread her wings wide and pretended her eraser was a stolen jewelry. Her blue tail tip pointed upwards triumphantly along with her showman-like pose. Momoko with her pink bow darted around, throwing confetti at her blue sister.
Midoriko: [calmly] So what about it, Sonoko?
Sonoko: [inhales] So! The guy who owned that diamond ring was staying at my family ryokan and flexing it to our staff a while ago! I didn’t realize it was the same item!
Akako: [nonchalant] Oh what a coincidence indeed, or perhaps it is fate?
Sonoko: Not the point! I know Prismaria is cool and all but I don’t want thieves lurking around my family business!
Midoriko: [nods, understanding] That is not a good thing… but with how crafty Prismaria is, I think it’s not related to your ryokan.
Akako: Fret not, heiress, for it is not a secret who owns the ring when it is publicly displayed in the central gallery.
Sonoko: [adjust her headband, thinking] You do have a point. I mean Prismaria is an Andranis like us… she can fly and she could be literally anyone in town… or out.
Midoriko: That’s right. So don’t worry, okay?
Sonoko: [relaxes] Mmm yes, thank you both of you! But now, [smirks at Midoriko] Where’s your husband?
Midoriko: [tail perks up, flustered] H-Husband!?
The sister with a red bow could barely hold her laughter in. She buried her face into the newspaper, yet, her jolly chortles escaped the confines of flimsy paper. Not a minute later, Aoko and Momoko popped up next to Akako’s desk, almost as if they were waiting for Midoriko’s blunder.
Sonoko: [lightly poke Midoriko] You knooooooow. That guy.
Aoko: [mocking] He’s probably dating trees right now!
Momoko: [cutesy, serious] You have to ask him out before he marries a tree!
Midoriko: N-No??? He wouldn’t do that!
Sonoko: [giggles] How can you be so sure? Oh wait, you’re soulmates!
The girls around Midoriko laughed louder as she stubbornly denied a deeper relationship while wearing a rosy tomato blush on her face. Her green fan tail tip stiffened and slapped on the ground once with force, producing a little wind and a clap from impact. Just like that, Prismaria faded from the high school girls’ discussion despite the constant noise of the morning news from the radio and the TV.
Towards the back of the class, a proud bipedal dragon with blazingly orange horns shrugged and pretended the girls didn’t bother him. However, any student standing near him would know that he was lying. Concealed just slightly below the end of the dragon’s uniform sleeve was a blurry photo of Midoriko and a male Andranis holding hands, both covered in flaming heart scribbles.
A short while later, an Andranis male showed up at the classroom door. He was veiled in stray leaves, from his puffy dark brown hair, wings, down to his feet and even a few on his tail… although his tail tip already resembled a leaf to begin with. He let out a relieved sigh which drew the attention of the class.
Midoriko: [perplexed] Teiku?
Akako: [gestures with elegance] And behold! The man has finally walked onto the stage!
Sonoko: [holding laughter] You’ve been dumped, Midoriko!
Teiku, the male Andranis student, confusedly blinked while tree leaves were still covering him. He hadn’t made attempts to tidy himself up. Though, he appeared more confused at what the girls were talking about.
Teiku: [clueless] Why would I date a tree? You can’t legally marry trees.
His response caused the girls to stop laughing and stare at him. For a few moments, there were just voices of the reporter on the radio and TV.
.
.
Then the class bursted out laughing except for a few which included Midoriko and Teiku. Aoko slumped and rolled her arms onto her desk, laughing even louder. The pink bow sister hopped and skipped, each time throwing confetti and leaves into the air alongside her jolly giggles.
Momoko: [joyful] Congratulations! You’re still a couple!
The other sister took off her red bow and folded it into a heart shape to be given to her certainly-definitely-surely-having-a-crush sister.
Akako: [calmly] A heart symbolizes love and devotion. If you ever need to arrange a formal union, I, Koutoki Akako, will make sure it is an event that no one will ever forget.
Sonoko: [quickly yells] You can even use my ryokan for it! We have space and food!
Midoriko: [blushing, flustered] I-I told you all that we’re not a couple! We’re just good friends!
Teiku: [looked away, slightly blushing] Right. We just hang out together because of our hobbies.
Chatters were rising.
Midoriko: [swiftly cut others] By the way Teiku, why are you covered in leaves? You should go and clean that up before homeroom.
Teiku: [nods] Uh yeah, I really should. There was a stray cat stuck on a tree in the orchard.
At that moment, Midoriko noticed a dreadful detail. In Teiku’s hand was Akako’s heart-shaped folded bow. The sight of it prompted her immediate reaction to facepalm with all her three fingers clutching her face. Oblivious, the guy turned to her.
Teiku: [innocently] Akako gave it to us, so I accepted it.
The ryokan heiress nearly fell off her chair while Aoko buried her face into the desk with a hysterical laughter. Meanwhile, the mastermind smugly crossed her arms in her seat. Teiku wondered why everyone was reacting so strangely until he took a closer look at it. There was a piece of paper in the middle and it wasn’t blank. It was a drawing of Midoriko in a wedding dress. After a few seconds of reading the context, the boy let out a perplexed and embarrassed “oh”.
Akako: [satisfied snickers] I jest, of course. [winks] But if you like it, you can keep it along with that bow. You can make it into a locket if you wish.
Before he could form a reply, Akako produced a new red bow by just snapping her fingers. It came out of nowhere to many, but the trickster herself knew that it had always been hiding in her sleeve. In a quick series of actions, Akako was back wearing a red bow on her ponytail once more. Unsure what to even reply at this point, Teiku just stood there until Midoriko gestured for him to go tidy himself up. She took the red bow back and he swiftly left the classroom. He made it back just in time for the homeroom where the chaos had calmed down and everyone was in their seats properly. No more of that teasing can be heard for now. The radio and the TV were powered off, but the talks of Prismaria continued with some students.
The homeroom began shortly after, but it brought about some slight confusion. The teacher didn’t appear. They waited and waited, the homeroom was over and their teacher didn’t show up. The first class of the day started and its teacher came in, but still no sign of the 2-C’s homeroom. During the lunch break, some students took the question to other school personnel where they came back with an answer: he took a leave today. Relieved and satisfied, students of 2-C returned to chatting and goofing around.
Momoko: [chipper] Teiku! We’re going to visit the Central Gallery to watch Prismaria in action! Do you want to come too?
Aoko: [proudly] I will outspeed that thief one day!
Teiku: [unimpressed] I’m not interested in thieves. You probably should invite someone else.
Momoko: [tilts head] Aww, why not?
Aoko: [pouts a little] Then we’ll invite Sonoko!
Midoriko: [pats her sisters] Don’t worry about it. He has things to attend to, right?
Teiku: [nods] Sono Ryokan needs an extra hand.
Sonoko: [groans] Yeah… I can’t go either. Many guests booked. [smiles] Have fun for me, girls! One day you have to beat that thief!
Akako: [bows] We will not disappoint you.
Aoko: [crosses arm] Heh, I’ll become so fast that no one can catch up to me!
Momoko: [sways, carefree] I want to take that rainbow cape and make it mine~
Midoriko: [gentle] Thank you Sonoko. We will learn and improve our skills. Good luck on your side too though! Having a lot of guests must be very hectic.
Sonoko: You bet! It’s going to be tiring, but at least that’s a lot of money!
Teiku: [slightly concerned] Keep yourself and your sisters safe. A thief is a criminal.
Midoriko: That’s what I always do. I have to make sure everything’s fine.
Hoshimine Central Gallery
Night
On the night of the heist, crowds gathered outside the building. Police officers of various varieties were stationed outside and inside the exhibit halls. Some officers were winged, some not, some had long bodies, some were humanoid, and some were just standard human and half-humans. The strict uniform code and insignia unified their visuals.
Huddled in the darkened restroom on the second floor, three girls talked among themselves. Their wings were folded and tails were wrapped in yellow ornaments. The darkness and silence shrouded their presence to all but themselves whispering among each other.
Momoko: [giggles] Nobody even noticed we came in here!
Akako: [smug] Janitor outfit works wonders. Nobody suspects them.
Midoriko: [calm] Everyone is focused on Prismaria and her target after all.
Akako: All according to the plan.
The green sister retrieved a communication radio from a small satchel beside them and spoke into it.
Midoriko: How’s the outside, Aoko?
On the other end of the communication line was the blue sister dressed in a long puffy dress standing among the crowd. The background cacophony of cheer, confusion, anger, disgust, and delight echoed into her radio.
Aoko: [content] Everything’s all good here. The police are stationed only on ground and roof gates. Mid-level gates are boarded up but I bet any medium-level spell will make quick work of that.
Midoriko: Thank you Aoko, but one more thing. Did you see any classmates today?
Aoko: [thinks] Huh… There was Thasquia but she went to an internet cafe nearby. [carefree] Other than that, I didn’t see anyone I can recognize.
Midoriko: [relieved] That’s perfect. Be on standby for any changes in plans, okay?
Aoko: [proudly] Yeah! I’ve got all your colored bows ready and if you need my speed or power, I’m already ready!
Midoriko: I’ll signal you when we need it. Your role is just as important today. I’ll see you later.
The three sisters excitedly exchanged smiles. The time was near and they were ready. They made a last check with their packs.
Midoriko: [serious] Everyone, remember why we are here tonight. We will take the Shining Loop before anyone else…
With a swift gesture of her arm, a shimmering rainbow cape danced and settled draped over her wings. The big sister of the quadruplet stood proudly in her stunning white costume. The three nodded at each other and when Midoriko snapped her fingers, all three were no longer there.
In the display room where its sole doorway was barricaded with thick nets, the Shining Loop sat in an octagonal glass stand. Lights from each corner of the room shone towards it as if it was commanding all the attention. A thin layer of ethereal bars was faintly visible, occasionally sending out whimsical sparks. Four police officers stood guard directly in front of the stand, and four more winged officers stood at further intervals. Above them all, the moon in front of a starry night sky hovered over the skylight window. It was unusually sparkly as seen through that window if one were to gaze upwards.
It wasn’t just the moon that was extra shiny and bright.
The entire room was shimmering.
crack…
SHATTER
From the broken window, a humanoid figure dressed in conspicuous white descended, one hand holding her hat and the other spread free like wings eager to fly. Spread wide, stretching upwards, her actual wings on her back extended a fluttering rainbow cape in its full glory. The phantom thief descended gracefully to the top of the display case itself. The hand that once held the hat swung sideways to match the other arm. The wide, kite-like cape’s edges smoothens and morphed, becoming a flowing fabric as the thief folded her wings in.
Prismaria: The rainbow curtain rises! Can you keep up with me tonight?
The guardians of the Shining Loop swiftly raised their batons, each glowing faintly from the infusion of personal Aether. Prismaria remained unfazed. The only thing separating her from the Shining Loop was the bars of energy.
“Deploy the net. Raise the outer barrier bars. Prismaria will not escape this time.”
A calm and commanding voice spoke through the intercom prompting slight disappointment from the thief. As ordered, the winged offices flew up to the ceiling and stretched out a net over the skylight. At the same time, another set of bars rose from the ground and formed a cage over the thief and the Shining Loop. Both sets of bars were made of the same material. Prismaria shrugged, speaking to the source of the voice with a tone of familiarity.
Prismaria: I’m disappointed, Inspector Daiamon. I thought this time we’d finally meet in person.
Daiamon: How nice of you to think of me. Alas, you are a thief. We can meet when your days of crimes are over.
Prismaria: [sighs] Aw, I haven’t even gotten to play today.
Daiamon: You can play all you want in jail. Would you kindly turn yourself in now?
Prismaria: Maybe I should. [wonder] By the way, inspector, did you make these bars all by yourself? They weren’t here when I was surveying the venue.
Daiamon: [proud, cool] Impressive, is it not? It turns Aether into solids. Perfect for keeping you in.
Prismaria: [nods twice] It is, I agree wholeheartedly! [giggles] But it would be a shame if something were to happen to it. Today’s horoscope for all signs is… Stardust Negate!
The shining shimmering dust in the room clumped at both sets of the bar then disintegrated along with them. The officers raised their batons but they found them stripped of Aether as well. Taking advantage of the sudden confusion brought about by her Stardust spell, Prismaria lifted her right foot. The heels of her thigh-high stiletto boots sent the glass fragments down and aside, then her nimble gloved hand snatched the Shining Loop from its resting place.
Suddenly, a bright flash.
There was no one standing on the display stand any longer. Prismaria was gone. The perplexed officers frantically looked here and there but it was all in vain. No rainbow nor arrogant white was in sight; just nine police officers. Neither the skylight nor doorway nets showed any signs of disturbance. Then one officer yelled and pointed at the doorway. Prismaria now stood on the other side, her thumb fiddling with the stolen item while her remaining two fingers formed a V sign. She looked directly into a camera watching her.
Daiamon: [slight annoyance] I don’t know how you do that, but you will not get away.
Prismaria: [bows] I wish you could see it in person, inspector.
Daiamon: Attention! Remove the doorway net and proceed to plan B!
Prismaria: Hm, [wears the ring] Don’t be so hasty, inspector! The show is just starting!
The thief started running. The police outside the room also did. The group in the display room took a while to remove the net they reinforced so well, but they eventually joined up with the other group. Suddenly Prismaria stopped at an intersection near stairways. Her sudden stop was so unexpected the police froze as well. A few bumped into each other and groaned. Even more perplexing, however, she raised her hand as if surrendering. There was nothing in her hands.
And that was exactly what she wanted everyone to think. Her tail reached to her pocket then something fell out.
BANG
FLASH
POOF
A series of lights, glitter, and smoke filled the hallway. Prismaria disappeared again, but this time she was caught by the camera. Inspector Daiamon who oversaw the operation from the control room couldn’t resist a smirk. To see Prismaria’s escape route so clearly was a treat. While his subordinates may not be able to see her movements through the smoke, he could, and he knew exactly which way she went.
Daiamon: [firmly] Stay on your toes! Prismaria took the stairs!
It was as if his words fell on deaf ears. None of the officers walked.
Daiamon: I said she took the stairs.
A voice replied back through police radio.
“Sir… Which stairs…?”
Daiamon: East wing stairs, of course. The one you’re in front of.
“There’s…. There’s five”
Daimon: Five what?
“Five sets of stairs… and the corridor got really weird…”
Daiamon: Nothing looking unusual here. Just push forward! Don’t let that thief fool you!
Reluctantly, the police began splitting into groups and went down each of the paths before them. To them, there suddenly were five stairs and before it were winding routes leading into it, or sometimes each other. Inspector Daiamon would soon have a massive facepalm. He saw his task force walking into walls and bumping into each other, none of them reaching the actual stairs.
Eventually one group made it to the stairs but they were now far behind the thief. The inspector decided to pull the group situated on the roof inside. The two groups eventually converged and cornered Prismaria at the second floor east corridor. It was a restroom path, a dead end ahead of the thief. Everything was looking great for the police. They charged forward like mad bulls.
BUMP
Suddenly they bumped into a wall when there’s a brief flash. Prismaria appeared behind them. She waved and greeted them but before she could finish uttering, they gave chase again.
---
Back at the second floor restroom corridor, outside the range of surveillance, two sisters meet. One in the thief costume, and another in the task force's uniform. The thief took off her yellow contacts, revealing her brilliant red eyes. She stretched and sat on a sink counter. The other sister took off her helmet and tied a green bow back on her hair.
Midoriko: [relaxed] Smooth sailing again today.
Akako: [proudly] They fell for every trick! Your setup really is perfect! [fiddles with the fake Shining Loop]
Midoriko: [smiles] It was mostly your idea after all. Misdirection into disorientation.
Akako: Hehe, thanks Midoriko.
Midoriko: You’re welcome. [retrieves the real Shining Loop from her pocket] Anyway, take care of this. I will make sure we all get home safely.
Akako: [catches in style] Yes, director~ See you back at home!
The red-eyed sister left the restroom under the guise of a janitor, the same way she came in. Meanwhile, Midoriko began communicating with her other two sisters. Her left hand held a radio while her right began tapping buttons on a smaller device. After a short moment, a voice came in from the radio.
Aoko: [eager] Alright what’s up? Is it my showtime yet?
Midoriko: Almost. Momoko is on the fourth floor right now. Keep an eye on the windows.
Aoko: [slight confusion] I thought we were going with fifth?
Midoriko: [calmly] There's a slight change of plans. Fourth floor gates are not as fortified, and they open inwards.
Aoko: [confident] Oh! That’s even easier!
Midoriko: [cheerful] Isn’t it? Now just wait for Momoko to stop at the gate. After this, we’ll all have snacks at home.
Aoko: Yummy! Alright see you soon!
At the same time the conversation between the green and blue sisters ended, Prismaria stood, apparently cornered by a closed gate on the fourth floor. Many officers were visibly gasping for air, but their morale was restored when they saw the thief scratching her head at the gate. They carefully approached when the thief suddenly spoke.
Prismaria: [wonder] Hey everyone, have you ever seen a falling star?
The pursuers looked at each other in confusion. Their doubts began to rise.
Prismaria: Aww… No answers? That’s too bad. Then will you watch with me?
The police stepped back and braced. Officers who naturally had armored skin instinctively raised their limbs.
But then nothing happened.
The silence was awkward.
Prismaria: [nervous] U-Um~ Something went wrong!
Daiamon: Oh, resorting to bluffing now? I guess you ar–
TWHOMP
A star-shaped projectile crashed through the door and shattered into blue sparkles on impact, the force of the big star knocked the officers backwards a bit. The thief quickly cast a spell to create a solid star she could stand on.
Prismaria: [childishly cutesy] I have to go, bye-bye!
As soon as she hopped onto the star platform she created, it zoomed away at unexpected speeds. The winged police officers attempted to give chase, but their fatigue quickly caught up to them. Ground officers outside the museum could not see which direction the thief went. The police almost instantaneously lost track of the phantom thief, once again.
Later that night, the chaos of the heist calmed down and the town of Hoshimine slipped back to its peaceful relaxation. Lights from homes began going out and soon there were only a handful of buildings whose lights stay on. Even the brightly lit Hoshimine Central Gallery began dimming with the departure of the media and a portion of police forces. It was as if the city itself was falling asleep.
At the Koutoki mansion, the home of the quadruplet sisters, Akako stood solemnly on its roof. She was alone, only accompanied by the gusts of wind and pale moonlight. Her right hand clutched the Shining Loop tightly as she gazed to the night skies. She reached her arm to the sky with the gem between her eyes and the twinkling constellations above.
A sorrowful gaze turned to a glare of pure disdain. The hand that once cradled the gem grew cold. Frost and ice crept up the hand of the Andranis girl as if her metaphorical coldness was able to take shape. Then, with a snap of her fingers, it all shattered. Akako herself was unharmed, but the Shining Loop was in countless tiny pieces, shimmering faintly as it was carried away by the wind.
Akako: [sighs] How repulsive. Such disgusting items should never exist.

Some Nolshyra worldbuilding ramblings about Celestia because I felt the urge to. (also it's a WIP so questions are welcome)
Before I begin, I'll clarify that the word "Aether" refers to the energy that turn into magic/spells. Aether exists everywhere in Nolshyra.
So, in the world of Nolshyra where Prismaria lives, the three sky deities govern Aether. In the past, they directly govern who could and could not use magic. Later on they became less involved with the mortal world, but their connection to Aether is still present.
At time of birth or magic acquisition, that mortal also acquires a Celestia they are closely aligned to. Celestia may influence personality but does not dictate. It's possible for someone to be very different from their Sun, Moon, or Star Celestia stereotypes.
Since almost all mortal's magic stemmed from the deities, each Celestia's magic is also inherently tied to their deity's style.
Sun Celestia prefers powerful and aggressive magic. If a spell is powerful enough, it can be used defensively as well.
Moon Celestia uses primarily defensive or tricky spells to wear down the opponent while maintaining the user's advantage.
Star Celestia are the wildcards. Star spells have variety of effects and can be very random. They can also change based on creativity of each user.
Eventually elemental magic was discovered and became its own branch. Elemental magic did not require Celestia power to be used. They can be mixed, but it's possible to use elemental magic without Celestia magic at all. Over time, this led to some groups of mortal not being able to use their Celestia magic. They are still aligned with one and it can affect their personality and elemental magic styles, but they cannot directly cast Sun, Moon, or Star spells.
In the present, people born with two elemental affinities can't use Celestia magic. Meanwhile those who are born with only one element can directly tap into their Celestia power, able to use hybrid art or direct Celestia spells. This split in abilities is even. The numbers are distributed evenly and neither group have special privileges.
Also here's a bonus section of some characters' elements and their Celestia!
Midoriko: Wind / Star
Akako: Ice / Star
Aoko: Bolt (lightning) / Star
Momoko: Earth / Star
Teiku (friend): Wood / Earth / Sun
Sonoko (friend): Fire / Water / Sun
Chibi Suisei (blogger): Ice / Moon
Puffy Hoshy (blogger): Wind / Wood / Moon
Lost Lavender (blog fan): Ash / Wind / Star
So from this list we can see who can and can't access their Celestia.
much appreciation for people who create ocs that are clearly derivative of The Character because even if the inspiration is clear, they had the self awareness that their headcanons had snowballed so far past character analysis into pure self indulgence that there was very little of source material left. and that’s beautiful. sometimes when you’re preoccupied playing touys it’s hard to take a step back and realize you’ve actually created something wonderful and new
