fucking someone with a fever
theyâre kinda dazed, trembling a little, their body heat unreal, and theyâre flushed all across their face and down their chest and stomach (and thighs...)
when they cum, their voice is a shivering wail

There is just something about the meanest person youâve ever met being undeniably soft for their partner. Like they would rip your throat out if you suggested they were weak in any way, but if theyâre sick and exhausted and their partner wants to pamper them? If their partner asks for cuddles? If their partner kisses their forehead and says, âBless you, sweetheart.â? Yeah. Theyâre folding immediately.
Character that feels so bad they're up all night vs. character who feels so bad that they physically cannot keep themself awake
Sci-fi/fantasy idea. A lake or pond that hosts a cold-like virus. If you drink this water you are guaranteed to catch it. Don't go swimming in it either!
I genuinely think I rate attractiveness by how cute I think theyâd look with a fever.
Character A has the nagging feeling something's wrong with character B. They haven't seen each other in a few days. Both having busy schedules which kept them apart. A doesn't have any evidence for their feelings and it's probably just their over-worrying brain. Still, the nagging feeling keeps clawing at their gut and sitting heavily in their neck until A gives in and goes over to B's place.
Letying themselves in, A finds B napping on their sofa as is their habit. B loves a good late afternoon nap. Silly, really, to be so worried over nothing.
Feeling quite embarrassed, A makes to leave, hoping B hasn't noticed what an utterly ridiculous worrywart A has been.
Except... aren't B's cheeks a bit flushed? And why is B suddenly curling up under their blanket as if they are cold? Isn't B's nose a touch pink?
Stepping closer, A ever so slightly touches the back of their hand against B's forehead, finding it far too hot for their liking. B squirms and makes whimpering sounds of discomfort.
Perhaps it is good that A is such a worrywart after all.
just imagining a bed covered in used tissues makes me absolutely feral
When someone says they âjust have a coldâ
Downplaying everything. Downplaying how sexy it is that their voice is slightly croaky and deeper, that their nose is a little bit pink, they are pale, they have to carry around tissues, they are sleepy because the congestion kept them from sleeping properly, they apologise when they interrupt the conversation with their coughs and sneezes.
I could go on.

that hoodie they always end up wearing whenever they're feeling under the weather or they're coming down with something đ
iâm such a fever lover bro. like yes youâre delirious. yes youâre sweaty but youâre shivering. yeah youâre cuddling up to whoever, yeah youâre pathetic.
"It sounds worse than it is" vs. "It's worse than it sounds"
I love a good mismatch of symptoms vs. how a character actually feels
Thinking about colds in the summer ⌠popsicles for sore throats ⌠not being able to tell if theyâre sweating from the heat or a fever ⌠the chill of the air conditioner making them shiver âŚ
Also napping outside in a hammock with a blanket and sunhat. Or by the pool covered in a towel with an umbrella and a frozen drink/smoothie.
someone coming down with a fever because their body has finally decided itâs had enough. they feel completely drained and exhausted. their eyelids are heavy and their head is pounding. they can feel heat radiating from their own body beneath the blankets, yet theyâre shivering at the same time. they press a pillow against their chest, searching for some kind of comfort, wishing someone was there to hold them. with trembling fingers, they grab their phone and open the first conversation they see. the bright screen makes their eyes hurt. "hey, can you come over, please..? i donât feel well". they type the message and hit send.
Love when someone is trying to take care of themselves and they're so worn down/delirious that they can't manage to do things without screwing up in a way that's annoying.
It's one thing to be sick--it's not easily denied, most of the time, given symptoms. It's another to be so sick that not only is it obvious you are sick, but that you actually struggle to take care of yourself, and especially when it's simply that your brain is playing catch-up, because--again, it's one thing to be so sick that you can't move, and a complete other to be so sick that you can't take care of yourself, despite feeling like you can.
People tend to view the problem with doing anything while sick to be physical, but I prefer it when they feel like they can, they should be able to take care of themselves just fine, because they can walk, only to screw up everything they try to do, inconvenience themselves more and more, deal with little annoying things that crop up, and finally give up in frustration, finally admitting, with moderate embarrassment, that they do, in fact, need help, and they cannot, in fact, do it themselves.
always obsessed with the concept of someone teetering between feeling off and unwell, without really being able to pinpoint any particular symptom. they go to rest, maybe take nap or something, and it finally hits them like a truck.
