Hi
My visit to the Virginia State Capitol was amazing I learned more about US history and the declaration of Independence and all the people that were involved
for example Thomas Jefferson, he did so much for this country and something that I found really interesting was his quote written around the walls that this statue is located.
The most sacred of the duties of a government [is] to do equal and impartial justice to all its citizens.” —Thomas Jefferson
Nice pic dude

Asi como que no me doy cuenta ggg
The Virginia State Capitol, is one of the most iconic historical buildings, not only in Richmond but also in the entire country.
One of the most interesting things about it, besides the architectonic design, is the George Washington statue that lies inside this building. You may wonder why is this statue so special. This statue is the only one that was made with George Washington in person, which means this is the most exact statue of Washington in the entire world.
Regardless of being an almost 200 hundred years old, this is still the place where the state government works, and decide the laws for the Virginia population.

Streets with art!!
Walking in the streets of Richmond can be an excellent experience… I love when I see murals like this. I think they express the feelings and thoughts of people who make them.
This is one of my favorites!!
Thomas Jefferson is one of the most important persons in the history of the United States of America. He was passionate about America's independence from Britain and he fought for his convictions leading to the colonies to independence.
His counterpart in the Mexican history, definitely would be the priest Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, who is one of the most important men in the Mexican history. Miguel Hidalgo, just as Jefferson, started the sparkle for revolution against the oppression of outside governments among his people, leading to México to a new era where the influence of Spanish Empire existed no more.

One of my favorite discoveries so far in Richmond, is definitely the Edgar Allan Poe Museum. I just loved the gift shop and all the cool souvenirs you can find in there .
If you're planning to travel to Richmond, VA, you HAVE to visit this place! Whether if you're a Poe's fan or not, I can assure you that the visit will worth your time.
You can easily found the museum in the 1914 E Main St. in Richmond's downtown.
If you want to add a plus, try to visit the museum in winter, snow gives a great atmosphere to the place.
Some people believe in God, I believe in music. Some people pray, I turn up the radio.
