can we just talk about jammidodger for a second?

if you don't know who he is, his real name is jamie raines, he is a trans content creator on youtube who posts a lot of lgbtq+ centered content every couple of days.

he's also an author, and he has a book coming out (!!!) called the t in lgbt+ on june 29

i cannot describe how much this silly little fella has played such a role in me coming out, beginning to feel comfortable in myself, and learning that i'm okay just as i am.

jamie has made such a profound difference in my life and i'm sure in other people's too. genuinely, he is so funny and sweet and just so so smart, you can't not immediately take a liking to him

he's probably the sole reason that i am out as trans in this very moment, because i watched his videos and i saw how you can be trans but just so, so, normal and indistinguishable from a cis man

i saw how he was in such a better spot now than he had been so many years ago because, not in spite of, his coming out

i saw how he had a loving partner and a thriving career

i saw how he was everything i had always wanted to be

he is such an inspiration to me and so many other lgbtq+ people, and without him i would still be in the closet to this day.

he is just such a lovely person, i can't overstate this enough. so yeah, thank you jamie for everything you've done and continued to do, and everyone you haven't even realized you've helped in such life-changing ways.

Sometimes I wonder how many people have been turned away from bands they would’ve loved by music critics screaming about how bad they are. How many people would’ve loved a song if they didn’t seen it ripped to shreds and called “objectively horrible” by people who just don’t like that type of music. How many people DID love a band but seeing constant hatred of it for no reason other than “their music sucks” made them drift away from it

PLEASE. season one is amazing and i totally recommend that too, but season two has some of the best pieces of the hatchetfield story and if you haven't watched it, you are MISSING OUT. if we all work together we can make the future of hatchetfield real!
