Until She Chose Herself

SHE FELT WEAKER

She fought for everyone,

But forgot herself.

She listened to everyone,

But ignored herself.

She made sure everyone was alright,

But neglected herself.

She was in a dilemma about herself,

So she felt even weaker.

But people told her otherwise.

Kindness gets used.

Happiness gets stolen.

Thoughts grow silent.

The mind grows weaker.

The heart gets broken.

She tried so hard to keep up,

To be normal like everyone else,

To feel like herself again,

To minimize her anxiousness,

Her awkwardness...

But she felt like a fool while doing so,

Feeling weaker mentally with each passing day.

So she decided to keep a brave front.

But maybe it was just a phase,

Trying to test her.

She calmed herself down and said,
