I’m rather impressed with my cat at the moment. I’ve been rustling about the kitchen for the past two hours, first for sake of baking and then for the sake of cleaning up after the baking, and she’s managed to sleep through it all.

That’s cats for you: some days they can sleep through a hurricane and some days, if they so much as catch you looking at them for too long they’ll bolt faster than you can say “catnip.”
