This is gonna be long but I need to get this out so…

Is there anyone else who is worried about what will come after comeback? I mean the things that will happen in Aroha.

Like maybe new people that will become fans just because Astro’s sexy-ish concept and doesn’t appericate the ones before? Of course I want more people to appreciate Astro and became Aroha but I want them to get into Astro for their hardwork and talent, not for their look or concept. I mean, what if people would love them now because they are doing a mature concept but then if Astro will do a cute concept again, would they leave them? I don’t want them to go through another “Arohas left during the hiatus” type of situation.

Or possible fanwars that may happen because Astro will get more recognation? Some people already started to attack on Astro and we’ve never been a problematic fandom but I’m kinda worried that things will get big. I never understand why people try to start fanwars and never will. I don’t want Astro or Aroha to get involved in stuff like that.

Please don’t get me wrong, I’m trying to put it down in the best way I can. I’m not saying that I don’t want new people or new people will definitely bring problems. Of course I want more people to stan Astro, I’ve been screaming “Stan talent stan Astro” since the beginning and I’m so happy that they’re getting more attention now, even before the comeback.

I just hope this comeback will be the best one and Astro will be able to celebrate so many good things with Aroha (new and old) without any problem.

My belief is that, even if new fans come because of the mature concept, that’s fine. But if they stay around through this era to the next, engaged as a fan and getting to know ASTRO as a group, there’s no way they won’t come to love ASTRO for who they are as people and not only for their music. New fans will realize right away that “mature” is one of the furthest words from ASTRO’s personalities. They’re loud and silly and they play games constantly and scream to interrupt each other while they’re talking.

It’s always the look or concept that draws new fans in. Pre debut, people weren’t attracted to ASTRO because they were fun on stage and has great chemistry, at least not at first. They got drawn in by their performances, by these six boys who could dance well and put on a show. And then they came to realize that these performance monsters were also just dumb friends who were like everybody else. There have also been a lot of fans drawn in by Eunwoo’s visuals or acting, but now they’re full-fledged AROHA supporting every member and telling every non-AROHA of their talents. I believe that no matter what reason brings new fans this era, more will stay than leave because it’s too hard to not love ASTRO.

Don’t mind people trying to start fanwars. Usually their words are empty or their arguments are weak. “Oh, look, they used the same color palette” or “oh, look, their song sounds like these 5 seconds from a completely different producer.” I find that unlikely to happen anyway. A lot of people know what ASTRO went through with their company. I’ve already seen other fandoms agreeing to help support ASTRO and try to get them their first win. And those that will try to attack ASTRO—just don’t give them a response. Ignore what they try to say or claim because we know the truth.

Your worries are warranted, of course. There’s always change that happens with a comeback, but rather than worrying about what could go wrong, embrace the new fans and the change and keep focused on supporting ASTRO. This comeback is a reunion and celebration of ASTRO and AROHA and nothing can change that. This comeback is gonna be All Light.

i think it’s exactly that since astro said everything in the mv has a meaning.. i think he feels trapped in that ‘face genius’ bottle. that’s literally all people ever talk about. he’s like a pretty statue that’s presented to everyone in a one dimensional way. like there’s nothing more to him because people chose not to see more. like, look at any variety appearance he’s been on. it’s basically everyone talking about how pretty he is for fifteen hours straight
