So I haven’t been on much recently, and it’s for a lot of reasons but the main one is I just haven’t had any energy to deal with running this on top of everything else going on. I know a few of you may have been around last year when I finally got out of a really abusive relationship. I’m so glad to finally be out, and it’s been getting better, but he just keeps coming back to haunt me again and again.

Initially this was just I’m moving back, and then it turned into a fraud charge where I had to go through court because he wrote a ton of hot checks on my bank account and didn’t even tell me. It basically ruined me financially, but I was finally getting somewhere when I found out that he also opened several credit cards in my name without my knowledge. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the game, I can’t get them dismissed as fraud - we lived together, he had all my pertinent information, and I can’t prove I never had anything to do with it. I’m just stuck with the expenses, and the detriment to my credit keeps me from doing basically anything.

I can’t get an apartment, I can’t get a loan to help settle the debts because the debts themselves make my credit so bad, and I’m basically just stuck living with my parents until the distant future where I can deal with this. Which is how we got here - I hate it, but I’m just not sure what else to do.
