It's called "Unsettling Events In The Depths Of Hell", and it has a similar type of narration and style to it (down to the building 😭😭)

It's a more comedic horror type of game, but i can summarize the general idea of the game:

basically, you are this player that is testing this live game you are playing, the narrator here is called as "The Boss" and has a surviving assistant who is just named as "Subtitles Guy" (me saying surviving WILL make sense later on). The entire time, they are genuinely trying to make a game but due to how poorly planned it is and the budget being probably just 2.00$, they fail to do so and so they try to compensate it with.. uhm.. getting a bit understaffed.

yeah that's the general point as far as i can see

OUGH i'm so intrigued i love tsp-likes with everything in me you have my permission to go wild telling me about them

so self checkout unlimited...i hate to be that person that's like "you gotta just play it for yourself man" but i really can't describe it in too much detail without ruining the experience. basically you're alone in an empty mall after closing time and you progress through puzzles in the different stores and in doing so the game actually analyzes you psychologically based on your choices in those puzzles. it really scratches my brain in the same way tsp does so i recommend it for any tsp fans who are into the more philosophical and psychological aspects of the game.
