It's amazing how someone can be in your life, consistently and suddenly they aren't there anymore. You remember all the things they do, you know their favorite color and least favorite foods. You have shared things with one another that no one else knows. Yet, they aren't around anymore, and you have to forget about them and move on. I know where each scar came from on your body, but like, we don't even say hi to one another anymore when we walk by in town or on campus. We pretend like the other no longer exists. I can still close my eyes and see you softly breathing, laying next to me in bed. I feel creepy and weird, like I know your secrets, but I don't know how to strike up a conversation with you anymore. I pretend that you're in the room when you aren't. I flee from any situation where you possibly could be involved.
