Chilling Adventures of Sabrina MBTI
Sabrina Spellman [INFJ] : Sabrina takes all events in first before acting, which often leads her into trouble as she will follow along in bad situations until it is too late. Her curiosity as to how something will unfold often gets the best of her. She uses her deep intuitions in order to help those she cares about. She often can think she knows what is best for others and tries to manipulate behind the scenes. Because her intentions are good she thinks this justifies her unsavory behavior. Sabrina assumes everything is connected in a cohesive narrative in her life, everything has a meaning and a purpose.
Harvey Finkle [ISFP] : Harvey has no need to control others or to be in control. He is a live and let live type of character. His passion of art as an expression is a result of actions speaking louder than words. He won’t always say how he feels, but he shows it in everything he does. Harvey doesn’t need a lot of attention to be happy in a relationship, he just needs to know that you are there for him. He is by no means a traditionalist, but he is loyal to those he have won a place in his heart. You have to have crossed a major line of free will and privacy to lose his trust. Harvey simply wants to live his life uncomplicated and unfettered.

(I'm not trying to be rude in any way) why did you type will byers as INFJ? He doesn't seem to have the "visionary" outlook on life
Not rude at all.
Will Byers was one of the hardest characters from Stranger Things for me to type. Now, Will may have been the hardest for me to type but many of the characters from Stranger Things have been hard for me to analyze because they are children and in the stages of development. Which is why depending on how long the show goes their types are fluid and incredibility open to re-typings. Will is not only another child to type, but a character that is largely absent. In the first season he was missing, presumed dead. In the second season he is possessed for a large chunk or consumed with visions of the upside down.
Ni in some ways is described as visionary but this is a generic sweeping term that doesn’t fully encapsulate what Ni is and how it looks from the outside. Visionary is a loose term in MBTI thrown around a lot with different meanings. Many look for a visionary in Ni doms, but the ENTP is referred to as The Visionary. Therefore, typing by this loose term isn’t very reliable.
So how did I get to INFJ for Will Byers after all of this? We can tell that this character is introverted, so we have to figure out how he looks inward. From here I had to use process of elimination because he didn’t scream things out functionally to me. It didn’t all magically fit together. Typing him was a messy process.
I ruled out Ti as he isn’t skeptical or impersonal. I ruled out both Ti and Fi because he isn’t a judger first. He takes in information before coming to judgments. This is what makes him so open to everything happening to him, but also what makes him hesitant on making statements in the affirmative. This then brings us to figure out how he perceives. I ruled out Si, because he isn’t practical and doesn’t deal in concrete facts. He definitely takes in information that is meaningful to himself as all IJs do. The difference is what information he is taking in. He doesn’t deal in data like an Si user, nor is he an action-oriented character. He doesn’t deal in the finer details. Instead he deals in symbols and metaphors. Everything is through D&D terms, fantasy/sci-fi stories, etc. This led me to Ni.
INFJ comes from looking at Fe or Te. Will is clearly not an impersonal judger, but one who prefers social harmony. He isn’t blunt and is aware of social harmony and disharmony. His functions are not upfront and obvious, we don’t see the social crusaders or some big visionary plan because he is a child, because he was missing, and because he was possessed. From the text this is what I have concluded. Perhaps in time my typing may change with more seasons of the show to come. But with what I have this is the only conclusion I can back.

Myers Briggs by Developing Inferior/4th Functions
INFJ (Se): Focus on the beauty of your environment; integrate your ability to notice connections with your surroundings. Notice everything. ESTP (Ni): Try to find the root of your physical instincts; why do you have a gut feeling that something will happen? Connect the dots. INTJ (Se): Recognize that acting on your plans as soon as you form them will cause a higher level of efficiency and help you reach your goals faster. ESFP (Ni): Learn the difference between your physical instincts and your emotional opinions about things. How is the cause of your gut feelings different from that of your biases? INFP (Te): Realize that when you learn to be more assertive and direct about your opinions, you will be able to make a greater change in the world and implement your beliefs. ESTJ (Fi): Realize that if you don’t pay attention to your emotions, the purpose for your actions will be lost. If you set a goal because it’s efficient or because it’s the rules, you are ignoring the real question. What do you really want? INTP (Fe): Try talking about the concepts and theories you find interesting with people, express your enthusiasm for things that intrigue you! ESFJ (Ti): When dealing with a logical theory or concept you find confusing, try to look at it in the way you look at people. If you can figure out the motivations and emotions of other people, you can figure out how any given theory works. ISFJ (Ne): Try to understanding unfamiliar ideas, rather than dismissing them. Treat these new concepts with the respect and patience you use with people, equating understanding to empathy. ENTP (Si): Look back on your experiences and look for any patterns or inconsistencies. If you find any, analyze them and try to derive some ideas from them. Apply you ability to play with concepts to your past. ISTJ (Ne): Realize that the best way to implement your ideas efficiently is to be innovative, and use the ideas that work the best, even if these methods are different from the ones you usually use. ENFP (Si): Tell stories about your adventures; look back on all the new experiences you had. ISFP (Te): Realize that gaining some decisiveness is what will give you the most freedom. If you can set goals for yourself and learn to be systematic in your life, you’ll gain stability and be able to have relaxation and tranquility. ENTJ (Fi): When you’re working through your plans, make sure to take a step back every once in a while and reassess why you do everything you do. Recognize that you have motivations, and your purpose stems from your emotions. It won’t be a detriment to your efficiency to acknowledge and delve a little deeper into why you want what you want. ISTP (Fe): Try expressing your emotions through your work/activities. If you dance, really access your feelings and let that fuel you. If you play a sport, let the emotions which motivate you show through more. You don’t have to suppress anything, and positive feelings can be useful for energy. ENFJ (Ti):When you get an idea in your head, one you really stick to and work towards, try to figure out why. How do you come to conclusions logically?
idk why I made this
Awesome
I like the placement of ENTJs. Too perfect, also kinda creepy.
“I wish, as well as everybody else, to be perfectly happy; but like everybody else, it must be in my own way.”

Jane Austen
A lot gets made of the INFJ/ENTP pairing, but there’s a unique chemistry between INFJs and ENTJs. There’s a sense of camaraderie, the combination of being perceptive and cynical, the drive that allows each to have a unique vision and see it through, the ability to be remarkably calloused when the situation calls for it, of being fiercely protective and tender, but only for a chosen few. Each understands the value of secrets, of layers, and neither pushes too hard for complete transparency. If it is the proverbial lion and lamb relationship, upon closer inspection, one finds the line between the two is less defined than one would expect.
