          his words caused her cheeks to flush    &    his hands on her face, made her teeth tug at her bottom lip once more --- the air LEAVING her lungs. the brunette cocks a brow, before pulling him down closer to her, their lips almost connecting. ❛ i don’t know -- you’ll have to show me. ❜ she teased, before pressing a light kiss to his lips    &    then getting to her feet. ❛ come on, i’ll help you carry it back. ❜ oh, she knew what she was doing to him.

                “yeah they might.” gale ventures. he brushes his nose back against hers. those words are music to his ears and it’s been so long since he’s heard them, it eases the ache in his chest. “you have no idea how much you mean to me,” he says as he presses his lips to hers. there’s a crack of a stick maybe someone sneaking around and gale’s got his arrow on the sound in a second. but it’s only a deer, they’d been so quiet the deer hadn’t realized that it was lurking on dangerous territory. “shhh” gale says in not even a whisper. they’d gotten enough game for a week already and it might be nice to have something to put away for later. the arrow flies and the deer falls.

                a crimson falls along her cheekbones as his lips press to hers. she cups a hand over her mouth, as he whips out his arrows. a laugh ALMOST escapes her lips    &    the moment was golden. after the dear had fallen she turned to him, taking her bottom lip between her teeth. ❛ --- mm how ROMANTIC. ❜ in a way, the word had felt foreign against her lips, god they’d never had time for silly teenage love, but now it felt infinite. ❛ good shot. ❜ a sly smirk creeps across crimson lips, her hand tucking hair behind her ear.
