Toji Fushiguro still roamed free. Unscathed by his sins. Suguru had carried that burden instead, that bone-crushing weight. The ringing in his ears still follows him from that day. What's one more burden to him? He's at the door of nirvana, anyway. Soon, he'll become one with the Buddha.
