The main info's up above, but I'm a polite T E X A S lady, so let me give y'all a little more. I'm DANI, a 23 year old self-taught guitar player from Dallas, currently living in the Big Apple. I'm a tattoo artist at Tattoo Envy (How rad is that name?) and a badass singer and songwriter. I do solo gigs, but I'm pretty darn dedicated to Pamela Lansbury. She is, I guess I hadn’t thought of that... Can you even imagine Rachel trying to lift a huge dog? We totally have to get her one for her birthday or something. Not only would it be hilarious, but it’d also been rad protection through the mean streets of New York City through the winter months. We’d be doing her a service really.

Sure, she could ace karaoke night at Acup, and she loved to sing along to her waterproof shower radio, but she had no formal training. Things for Lola didn’t come easy, but she worked as hard as she possibly could on them until everything turned out for the better. “Can we do that song from A Star is Born? I know that’s totally cheesy, but I really love it. I want to do Bradley Cooper’s part, though, so I can practice singing harmony. Does that make sense”

“Oh, no, not you. I was talking to Drummer,” Dani teased, cracking a smile at the other girl. “Of course you.” It was entirely like her to compliment people in general, but in this instance, she really meant it. Dani had always loved Lola’s singing voice. Then again, she loved everything about her, so that was no surprise, though she was sure this wasn’t just her being biased. “I’m hoping you mean Shallow, that’s the only one I actually know,” she frowned, slipping her phone from her pocket to pull up an instrumental version on YouTube to use as backing music. “It totally makes sense. And you’re up first, right? Go ahead, Bradley. Wow me.”

This is one hell of a covert operation we’re planning here, I’m into it. You sure the girls are gonna let you get away with it? Or are you just gonna use that Dani Harper charm to make it happen? I’m not complaining either way, I just don’t wanna get you in trouble with the Lansbabes.

It’ll be way more special if it’s a Dani Harper original, we don’t need to tell the others. I’d never be in trouble with them, they love me. Or at least I force them to pretend to love me. Whether they actually do or not is a whole other story.

If you had a big dog, I’m pretty sure I’d riot. Yeah, we’re a pretty vertically challenged apartment. Which is why Drummer fits right in, I guess. I mostly just like the fact that if I don’t want him chilling in my room, I can just pick him up and stick him in the living room. I wouldn’t be able to do that with a massive dog.

Exactly, it’s a match made in short people heaven. See, you say that, but my friend had this huge bulldog, and whenever she wanted to make him shower and he refused to go in, she’d grab him under the arms and he’d just hang there while she carried him into the bathroom, it always looked hilarious. We’d figure out how to do that.

A tattoo artist first and foremost, Dani worked minimally in the piercing room. However, she’d had a pretty free schedule today, and the piercers had been short-staffed. It was a walk-in day, so perhaps the worst time for it to happen really, but Dani definitely didn’t mind helping out, and had just finished up with a customer when she exited the room and noticed a new one approaching the counter. “Oh, hey Haley!” She greeted cheerfully, sending the blonde a smile. “Are you wanting to get something pierced, or are you just inquiring? Either way, I got you.”

Dani didn’t know what was going on between she and Sam. Well, no, she did... But she didn’t like it, and she’d never been the type of person to just sit back and allow a negative situation to spiral. Maybe it was a little unfair, showing up at the other girl’s home where she obviously couldn’t escape her, but it had seemed like a good idea. Until she found herself knocking on the door, at least, shifting from foot to foot as she waited for the other girl to answer.

“Your singing voice is killer already,” Dani shrugged as she plopped down onto Lola’s couch. She never had any issues with making herself comfortable at the other girl’s home, and Drummer seemed content to roll around on the floor with his favorite toy. He’d hopefully give them a little peace and quiet for now. “I mean, you know that, right? But whatever you need, I’m totally here for.” Two things Dani would never pass up on: Singing and spending time with Lola. If the other girl needed her help, she was all over it. She took the cap off of her water bottle, taking a couple sips. “Okay, so where would you like to start?”
