Sooooooooo… this account is still a thing. Ngl I have been pretty lax on the slbp scene. Granted I have reached the stage where there isn’t much for me to do but event stories; shadow and radiance cleared, act 2’s have been completed and even Kenshin and Nobunaga’s unification are done.

I’d congratulate myself for a job well done but even I think that’s a tad bit sad. Anyways, if you still keep up with slbp like I do, you’d have heard about Shingen’s unification story coming out today. And you know that that means…. Story walkthrough my homies. Your girl on that perfect score grind lmao, gotta make sure I get the divine ending first time round.

So not much has changed since last time. I’ll probably like update each chapter options individually so that others can use it in real time. And then a complete walkthrough compiled into a single post later on for future users. As of now I am way too broke to be spending pearls on any crossroads so uh... Hehehe, naw because y’all don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for them to expand platforms and then they drop this massive bombshell, they’re adding some otome games to switch but more than that- they’re creating a new game with switch being it’s main platform. Best believe I’m getting it once it drops but also, the visuals remind me of gossip girl party. It’s so pretty too and I love how the overall story seems to be much darker than most of their other games.

I could go on and on about how much I loved this route. Honestly *chefs kiss* Watching Ieyasu’s growth throughout could bring tears to my eyes. Voltage better give the narrative team a raise because they did him justice and more. Although that might just be the Ieyasu simp in me talking lmao. On another note, I was scrolling through otome games on the App Store recently and I found a nice rare gem that recently released. It’s called Tears of Themis and I was surprised to note that it was made by mihoyo (even more so that I hadn’t heard of it before today), the same game company that made genshin and honkai, whew now I’m looking forward to it.

Overall the route was ok. Not a personal favourite even though he’s a character I initially was crazy for. In terms of romantic plot the start was ok and the middle too but it felt like I was taking 1 step forward and then another 5 steps back. Which left the relationship feeling like it wasn’t going anywhere and really drawn out. And this probably didn’t help the ending merge well together with the entire story for me seeing as the relationship still didn’t feel defined enough for us to be called lovers at that point. It just felt lacking in some way, wish I could put it into words properly. It wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t rank it very high in terms of plot compared to the other routes.

So I’m in the middle of playing Ieyasu’s route and I was in episode 7 when this happened.

You see, this wouldn’t be weird if MC was talking to someone, but there was no one in there apart from her and Ieyasu and because this was an inner monologue. If that doesn’t give you goosebumps, here- this is her being even more clear in her fourth wall breaking.

I’ve played this route three times now and this is the first time I’m noticing the fourth wall break. I see that MC is becoming self aware.

The walkthrough that no one asked for but I decided to give:

Ok, I just wanted to say that as I'm typing this I'm literally playing through the Kageie MS right now (sadly I had to cut kenshin's last two episodes and epilogue off- but it's ok, I've already gotten the divine ending anyway) and I'm sweating like mad every time a dialogue option comes up for the MC. I haven't been able to pin down Kageie's character so it's unbelievably hard for me to guess what dialogue will give the necessary points. Which means- I'm going to have to wing it. I know this post seems dumb but I kid you not when I say I'm going through a mid-life crisis every time those dialougue options come up. Because I know some of you guys are feeling just as angsty and anxious as me about getting this right first time, I thought I'd put down the screen shots of the dialogue options and then describe the ones I picked and the ones that are actually correct. I have Spend the last 20 minutes trying to find any Japanese walkthroughs that I could use as reference but nothing's come up and so I've turned to doing this myself. Anyway, enough about me ranting and lets get going with this. I've created enough text that the image and explanation should be hidden to those who don't want spoilers. The second option is the one I ended up picking; ‘Bow and wait.’ It turned out to be correct. So far so good.

I was planing on during all my love passes at once before I realised that the training missions would hinder me if I progressed faster than I collected skill points. So I will use the daily love pass and 5 from my stash so that I end up completing each chapter a day. This means that I’ll be posting twice- unless something exciting happens that makes me want to add. I think I might also post the portrait images that I got from the Echigo event as well as the fashion mission ones (even though I have no pearls, lol). Once again good luck and enjoy your 2D romance.
