Hello. We are the alters or what our host Elizabeth (IzLiz) likes to call inners. We are personalities that presented in response to a traumatic event or as a coping mechanism. There are over 100 of us living in Elizabeth and we are trying to help shed light on DID.Feel free to ask questions and we will do our best to reply. Guys I’m rewriting an Undertale fanfic I wrote forever ago. And I might actually finish it. I’m so proud

We do have some new alters now and have also identified that we’ve experienced panic attacks all our life but I guess never knew it or understood it.

Had one a few weeks back after losing a stuffed animal we’ve had since birth. It was rough bc Elizabeth’s husband has never seen her have a panic attack. We’ve been very fortunate not to have one for a very long time- or at least not when he was around. He had no clue how to handle it. Secret fronted after and explained everything to him and go him understanding. It was a sh*t time but brought us all closer.

So it’s been a really long time since we’ve been on here. We switched to Facebook groups for a while and had a lot of life events happen.

Host is married and trying for kids now- with majority system consent. It’s weird but it’s nice. Also her and husband live in their own place so we can be out more freely without having to pretend to be her.

Yeah. So the body/host is mid twenties. She’s an elementary school teacher too.

hey, i have a question im hoping someone can help me with, I tend to get sort of front stuck as the host, and while other alters can co-front with me, they're never fully in control. how do i give up my control of the front? ~☁️

We normally find a way to relax and just kinda slip out of control. Find a safe space to calm yourself and just give in a bit.

Hi, I'm currently in a relationship with an alter. I haven't known from the beginning but I know everything now and we continue to work it out. I'm friends with the original and we all make it work. Have any of you had any experience dating outside of the system? What worked, didn't and how was it for everyone?

Yeah. So the Host, Elizabeth is engaged outside the system. They work great and he’s a good friend of most of us. Some of us tried with other systems but because there are so many of us and we don’t front to often, it didn’t work out. But a lot of us are open to sharing or participating in with the host.

i used to think that a foot of parchment was a lot and feel bad when harry potter characters were assigned to write that much

but then i realized the paper i write on is 8.5 by 11 inches.

so a foot of parchment is the equivalent of like, a page and a half of paper.

they complained SO MUCH about essays that were like

it’s honestly not even a foot and a half it’s just one sheet of paper. a foot is 12 inches. like dang if i had to only write one page long essays in school about cool magic shit then i would have been ecstatic.

also 12pt times new roman— the standard assigned size and font for a lot of essay assignments— produces significantly smaller text than a muggleborn teenageer with a pen and ink quill would be able to manage on the regular, no matter how dedicated she was. ron and harry are frequently noted to be using large handwriting on unlined paper. their homework would have been about three short paragraphs if they were feeling studious. 

no wonder hermione was so fucking exasperated! muggle students their age would have strangled them.
