This rather unconventional collection of glasses was created as a project for 1997 Glassmanifest exhibit under the name Vice/Virtue. 

The water glass series plays around the duality of indulgence and wellness that characterized contemporary culture of the time. Each glass represents an addiction: The Dispensary, The Fountain, The Exhaust, and The Reservoir.

Dutch illustrator, Pieter Janssen aka Parra, is well-known for his provocative yet minimalistic work, filled with vivid colours and surreal female creatures. Through recognizable aesthetic and limited signature palette, Parra’s work tends to be a study and a parody of the modern woman and her experiences in love. 

Artist’s work is currently on display at Joshua Liner Gallery in New York.

Ben Rose house also known as ‘Cameron House’ from 80s iconic film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. 

The renowned home was built by Mies Van Der Rohe’s students, James Speyer and David Haid. The two collaborated on a project and designed the main house (Speyer, 1953) and automobile pavilion (Haid, 1974) for textile designers Ben and Frances Rose. The influence of Van Der Rohe can really be seen in the design. Rose house was named one of the most notable architectural works of its time along with Farnsworth house.
