The regional Partner Business Solutions (PBS) teams work directly with large partners to develop monetization strategies for their online content. Our partners represent publishing, entertainment and commerce companies as well as other emerging verticals. We are in a unique and exciting position to shape the digital alignment of marketing and business strategies as our products evolve. We work with Google's broad range of partner solutions including AdSense, DoubleClick Platform Solutions and the AdExchange, across mobile, display, and video formats, helping our partners and their audiences get the most out of the web.
As Strategic Partner Development Lead, Automotive Vertical, you will work with large prospective partners, across the Automotive Vertical in the US. You will develop new partnerships leveraging Googleâs entire monetization and platform suite (including AdSense, AdX, Admob and DFP Premium). In this role you will apply your business development skills, strategic acumen, industry knowledge and product understanding to expand Google's partner base and revenue.
Responsibilities
Develop renewal and product strategy, negotiate term sheets, manage internal approvals process, contract negotiations and compliance processes.
Understand the full scope of partner monetization and ad serving including inventory trends, direct and indirect channel priorities, competitors used and how monetization fits into larger business strategy.
Analyze monetization performance and present findings to key clients, influencing partner strategy by highlighting key opportunities to increase yield through product usage; identify opportunities to add new/emerging channels (e.g., mobile and video) to product mix; bring data-driven insights to support recommendations and drive Quarterly Business Reviews with senior executives.
Optimize usage of Googleâs monetization suite in consultation with partners based on performance analysis, e.g. block list management, CPM thresholds, ad positioning; develop frameworks to evaluate success of implemented optimizations.
Develop and manage a pipeline to help expand the Automotive Vertical.
Minimum qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years relevant work experience, including 3 years of related sales, account management or business development experience in an Internet company.
Preferred qualifications
Demonstrated partner relationship and business development skills. Comfortable with team-based selling approach.
Demonstrated analytical ability, including the ability to understand monetization metrics and apply these to potential optimizations.
Ability to negotiate contracts, interpret legal documents, and work with attorneys to complete agreements.
Broad understanding of online advertising (i.e. ad serving, networks, and key platforms) and trends (i.e. desktop, mobile, video).
Self-motivated individual that is comfortable operating in a rapidly changing and largely undefined industry.
Automotive industry knowledge.

We are looking for an experienced analytics leader with background in computer vision, and with complementary knowledge in software, with a track record of innovation, leadership and program execution.
As the Manager for the Computer Viison Lab, you will:
Lead a team of approximately 8-12 scientists at GE Global Research within the Analytics Organization. The focus will be to partner with the Technology Leader and businesses on the long-term applied analytics vision, drive applied analytics technology inventions, and transfer these inventions from GE Global Research to the businesses. It will be important to establish key internal and external collaborations, and to recruit top technical talent.
Collaborate with and provide technical leadership to senior computer vision researchers; Lead the team in deployment of advanced algorithms. Lead the team to create new ideas in support of the US Government and third-parties, win their support through funded programs, and create intellectual property and inspiring technology demonstrations.
Leverage machine learning, optimization and other technologies to create advanced techniques.
Ensure successful completion of the labâs technical project assignments, and meet broader organizational objectives, such as budgets and financial commitments
Ensure integration of the groupâs work with the direction of the Software Sciences and Analytics organization
Maintain and improve the groupâs external reputation, including hiring highly qualified computer vision experts
Drive technology program execution and technology transition to the businesses, meeting deliverables, budgets, and schedules, while also contributing technically to projects;
Develop networks in the GE businesses, with external commercial customers, and with Academia and External Research Partners.
Represent and promote GEâs Computer Vision research as applied to industrial internet applications in the technical community;
Exemplify GE leadership values and make full use of GE initiatives
Master's degree with at least 10 years of post-degree experience in analytical or business science industry related applications and theory.
Demonstrated leadership competencies, including team management
