Is it so bad that I want to go to a con dressed as Gamzee when I havent even read that much homestuck?

I dont see it as a problem bc I highly respect Gamzee and how the Makaras are. I love them and whattheir stories are. They are just awsome motherfuckers. So should I have to give up on dressing as my inner version of Gamzee just because I don't read that much homestuck? I don't think so so don't judge me for doing what I love to do.
