The second girl at least read the book to confirm that it was shit, she even had Capote on deck as backup. Chick 1 is just lazy
Nope. Girl 2 saw that Girl 1â˛s absolutely accurate analysis was being shut down just because it wasnât stated in an intellectual way (in spite of its validity). So Girl 2 reinforced Girl 1â˛s opinions in solidarity and made sure that it was absolutely clear that Girl 1 was factually correct. WITHOUT taking credit for her observations (âkim is rightâ instead of âActually, kimâ) Â
Girls supporting Girls.Â
Girls not letting other girls be treated poorly.
If you read thirty pages of a book and hate it, thatâs a good analysis. Girl 1 literally said, âIt sucked for these reasons, and I only got through 30 pages.â She was absolutely paying attention and trying to get it. But if all you get is a headache, fuck that book.

Unpopular opinion: straight people using âpartnerâ to refer to their SO actually helps normalize the term so that lgbt folx can use it without automatically outing themselves to strangers. It also helps other straight ppl get comfortable with the fact that strangers arenât entitled to information about other peopleâs gender or sexuality.
Give op their hard-earned notes
Tbh I hear âpartnerâ and assume gay, I didnât know straights used it. Very fair point, OP
I hear âpartnerâ and think âgayâ too. A girl at work used it for months and I just went with it. When she would say âheâ I even thought maybe he was trans*. Anyways, someone using partner makes me more comfortable and I came out to her. She was just an intelligent straight girl that liked the term and was knowledgeable in human sexuality so definitely someone I should have felt comfortable coming out too. Itâs a good sign of a straight person uses it IMO.
As a mental health clinician, this is actually my blanket term when discussing any romantic relationship. I agree it normalizes it, but I also think itâs a relatively safe term to use to describe most romantic relationships without making any assumptions about the personâs orientation or identity. I also use the word âpartneredâ when describing a monogamous relationship status.
The term âpartnerâ also removes the implied hierarchy of boyfriend/girlfriend vs husband/wife. This is relevant both to non-monogamous people, and unmarried individuals for whom the importance of their relationship isnât dictated by its legal status.Â

Taking place in England the owners of the yard slowly kept adding sections to the contraption so when the squirrel learned one section and got the nuts, theyâd add another section. It took over 2 weeks to get to the final product you see in the video.

âsure, not all black people, but a lot of black people, and we have no way of knowing which ones.â

lettuce consult the fbi data:
Of the 1,864 women murdered in 2010, 91% were killed by men. (by contrast, of the 3,872 men murdered, only 9% were killed by women). Of all the women murdered (by either sex), over a third were killed by a husband or boyfriend. women have legitimate reason to fear men, even the ones they know.Â
Of the 3,327 white people murdered in 2010, only 13% were killed by black people. 3% were killed by other or unknown races. white people do not have a statistically legitimate reason to fear other races.
womenâs fear of men is based in reality, not bigotry. white peopleâs fear of other races is based in bigotry, not reality.
These people went from lifting chips to pulling off some action movie shit
