“Well, why shouldn’t I be confident? I’d say that’s a pretty good trait to have,” of course, there was always the risk of being too confident, but Rikku really never put much thought into that notion. Besides, this chick seemed to have her own air of boldness to her. “I’m Rikku; what’s yours?”

    "Oh, I totally agree with you. 'm pretty confident myself!" Yep, boldness, confidence, and somewhat narcissism. "Name's Adelle. It's certainly a pleasure, Rikku." The thief grinned slyly at the other, folding her arms.

   "Well, it seems like I've ran into a ladies' man here, hm?" She folded her arms, leaning her weight on one side. "How...amusing."

“Well now, look’it all these people who came to see little ole’ me.” Following her words trailed an extravagant bow, a grin present the entire time. “Anything I can do for you, or do ya just want my autograph?” Cocky? Nah, only kinda close to it.

   "Well, don't we have a confident girl?" Adelle hummed with amusement, putting her hands on her waist. A smug little smirk appeared on her lips as she began speaking again. "...I kinda like that. What's your name, miss'm?"

Attentively examining the violet haired woman, she was taken slightly aback by the women’s extravagant hair color. It brought back memories of the time she tried to dye her hair platinum blonde…it was a disaster. Not the brightest idea she ever had. The corners of Rinoa’s lips curl into a small smile. “That hair color… Is it natural?”

   The question was a bit odd coming from a stranger, but nonetheless, the thief took it as a prideful compliment. Her lips formed a smirk towards the brunette woman. "Yeah, it's all natural," she blinked while speaking. "Why so curious 'bout my hair color, miss?"

He laughed heartily as he ran, he was sure he’d beat her this time. He’d never beaten her before but…he just had a feeling that this time would be different! Luso always trusted his feelings, which was really not that good of an idea because his feelings were usually wrong. In fact, while he had been thinking about he was definitely going to win, Adelle had passed him.

   Although she usually watched her feet as they made contact with the ground, her head was up. She just had to see Luso's face when she passed him; he always had that dumbfounded look! But, just so he stood somewhat of a chance, she only stayed about two feet in front of him. She stuck out her tongue at him as a taunt, then continued to laugh. "C'mon, slowpoke! Hasn't your runnin' skills at least improved a little?"

Luso was already walking,”Well then you’d better hurry up! If I get there first, you aren’t getting any of the pearls!”, and after that he took off on a sprint for the Deeps. If one thing hadn’t changed, it was that Luso was still VERY immature for his age.

   "Wh-- h-hey!" Adelle turned her head quickly towards her friend. "Ugh!" She uttered a word of playful disgust as she picked up her pace and ran up to Luso. Well, at least she's swift -- she could catch up in no time at all.

He walked behind her, his hands resting on top of his head. He blew out an exaggerated sigh,”Fiiine. I won’t touch you again!”, he sometimes forgot that Adelle wasn’t like the other members of Clan Gully, he couldn’t be as touchy-feely as he was with the rest of them. It was hard to do this because Luso was just a touchy-feely person.

   "Yeah, thanks," she said sarcastically. "It looks like we're gonna haf'ta walk there for now. Luckily, we aren't that far away, yeah?" Adelle cupped her hand over her mouth, emitting a small yawn. "We better get there ASAP, though. 'm getting bored of just standing and walking!"

He shoved her jokingly,”Well I’m always down to slice up some monsters! Just uh… I was hoping maybe we could do the monster slicing down in the Galerria Deep. I’ve heard some more giant Antlions have popped up in that area since we killed the Flowsand Lord.”

    "Sounds fine with me. Maybe we can pick up some pearls, too." Adelle nodded her head, turning around. "C'mon, c'mon, we're burning daylight. Oh right, and Luso -- one more thing," she curled her lower lip, brushing off her sleeve, "don't touch me again, okay?"

“Your probably okay with that though, right? You did always tell me that I was too loud!”, he rolled up his sleeve and scratched the back of his neck, a bit awkwardly even. He had been thinking about seeing Adelle again for a long time, and in his mind, it had never exactly gone down quite like this,”So, you got any contracts? Any monsters to slay?”

    "Yeah, and you haven't changed since then, either..." Adelle plugged one of her ears with her hand teasingly. Even if she was just playing, he was still sort of loud. He's gotten better at the concept of "inside voice" though. "I actually just got back from a mission. 'm up for another, if you wanna cut some monsters to pieces like ol' times."
