1970s wallpaper
I grew up in the 1980s and witnessed at least two of these personally in the homes of friends in California. That rainbow stripe motif was popular in public buildings too, lot of community centers and local public pool locker rooms had those. The older I get the more I truly love the weird earth tones and muted greens of my childhood.
[ID: A series of images of wallpaper made/popularly used in the 1970s and 80s; they include bold stripes, floral patterns, lots of deep reds and oranges and pale greens. Many appear to be mildly psychedelic, particularly the one of women with brightly colored hair.]
