The rumors say that Mike Michaud, the CEO of channel awesome and the rest of TGWTG is majorly anti-GG and on top of that, the insular clique of “star” reviewers have some major groupthink going on. Nostalgia Chick and Todd are both full blown SJW koolaid peddlers and since they are big names on the site, disagreeing with them is out of the question for fear of starting drama or losing their slot on the site.

Also, and this is completely unverified, someone posted on /gg/ claiming to be one of the new talent hires on the site said that they were making a GamerGate video that was meant to be neutral. When submitted for approval to be posted to the site, Michaud, or someone else, flipped their shit on them and demanded that he remake the video to be more anti-GG or it wouldn’t go up.

However, the community isn’t buying that shit. Dan Olson who makes Folding Ideas (the pretentious as fuck pseudo intellectual film critique show  with the box puppet that rambled about traffic lights) got shit by commenters when he tried to tell everyone that Depression Quest was the greatest thing ever because it crossed out options on you.

The big voices that think they control public opinion in small internet communities are becoming more and more disconnected with their audiences and it’s going to destroy a lot of their careers, so sit back and watch the fireworks.

Yep, that's the same Teridax. Amusingly he's somehow on the white-list of pro-corruption side that freebsdgirl made in contrast to the blocklist they made to 'identify' #GamerGate supporters. It should also be noted that (AFAIK) the GNAA has never actually trolled the tag as the group, the trolls who did just happen to be GNAA members doing it for the lulz. OTOH, the washed-up attention-whoring doxxer trolls of the BillWaggonerCrew are trolling the #GamerGate hashtag as a group [hence the BWC throwaway twitter accounts used to dox random game review sites & random people]. Why? Because they're attention whores who want to feel relevant again and find it hilarious when GamerGate supporters get blamed for their shit.

I was always told one must provide actual proof when making extraordinary claims if they wanted to be taken seriously. So why are accusations that supporters of the consumer revolt under the #GamerGate hashtag are behind threats/harassment/doxings treated as unquestionable truth, even when the only "proof" for those bold claims are the accusers' own words? [Reminder: Anyone one can post under the #GamerGate hashtag, regardless of whether they agree with it/disagree with it, or just want to troll it]

"I want to attempt to set the record straight, here: Eron broke up with Zoe, that last time. If anything, Zoe was jilted. Words mean things, y’all." Will this article get people to stop and think instead of mindlessly harassing a man who doesn't deserve to be attacked like this? Depends if people reblog this and how they respond I suppose.
