R.I.P Yancy Becket 


Ranger Yancy Becket (24), the senior pilot of Gipsy Danger, was killed during a battle with the kaiju Knifehead in the early hours of this morning.




He is survived by his younger brother and co-pilot Raleigh Becket who remains in a stable but critical condition.




His sacrifice saved ~300,000 people in the city of Anchorage and will not be forgotten.

✦ Fanfiction Awards 2020 ✦

So I’ve been thinking for a while on how to acknowledge some truly amazing fanfictions within the community - and I thought it would be a fun idea to have some awards! My aim is to make sure this isn’t a popularity contest. I want this to be fair for everyone, and I want everyone to feel included, so the nominations will be judged by an anonymous panel. 

The reason for the panel being anonymous is because otherwise they might experience unfair pressure, or face backlash over their choices. I promise they’re really friendly and open to everyone’s fics!

I honestly want this to be a fun and interactive experience, where people are free to recommend others, or even nominate their own stories.

Here’s how it’ll work:

Part One: Nominations

Picking from the below categories, you can nominate someone else’s fic, or even your own!  You can only pick one fic per category. You can nominate by submitting to me. Nominations close 31st December 2019.

Part Two: Voting

After nominations close, the panel will vote on which fic they believe best fits the category. We’ll do a winner and a runner-up for each category. The end of voting will depend on the volume of nominations - after all, the panel will need to read your wonderful stories!
