SOMEBODY TELL DOMINIC MITCHELL I NEED ANSWERS
Who is the Undead Prophet? Simon was the first to respond to medication. If anyone else responded faster, I don’t think they would have been released - they would have been experimented on too. This suggests to me that either the Undead Prophet is a human, or there is another way of treating rabid Risen that somebody else has developed. How else would he have been able to be conscious of his state and free to explore it for long enough to develop a complex radicalised ideology and back it up with Bible quotes? What we do know is that the Undead Prophet is not any of the characters we’ve been introduced to yet - nobody else in the show has a scouse accent.
Who invented Blue Oblivion? It seems to have been circulating from quite early on for it to have been such an identified and studied issue by the government. But who made it? They’d have to be qualified in both biology and chemistry (doctor? pharmacist?), very early-released, in agreement with an extreme ideology, able to have access to a functioning laboratory, wide selection of chemicals, and a number of test subjects (the equipment especially I think would be hard to get hold of for a visible stigmatised minority). They would also have had to have died in 2009. That’s a ridiculously specific set of criteria. How could they have been found and put in contact with the Prophet so quickly? Smells fishy.
The criteria for who rose is confusing to me. The idea of the 40,000 Risen is mentioned, I think, because of the Biblical connections. Are we to take that the whole universe of ITF has Biblical stuff happen, or is it an urban myth? It brings up several issues for me. We see in the treatment centre that there are loads of Risen, and since we know that they’re continuously finding rabid ones throughout the series, they’re never holding the complete population in the treatment centre at any one time. We also know that a very large number were probably permanently killed while rabid, or for disobedience in the treatment centre. 40,000, even in the UK, seems like a pretty small number to have caused such societal collapse, if you consider how they’re barely sentient, unorganised, how spread-out the Risen would have to be, and how Risen can’t create new Risen through biting/other contamination. How did it take four years to deal with that? Then you have to consider that we know the Rising was an international phenomenon (Kieren’s comments on Paris, Rick rising in Afghanistan). 40,000 spread globally must amount to only a few dozen or a few hundred max per country. It doesn’t fit that the world would have suffered so much from what, at that scale, wouldn’t really be that severe. And even if it’s just within the UK, surely more than 40,000 people died in the requisite time period for the rising. If only a select group of them rose, what are the criteria for rising? Morality? Method of death?

I was talking to my friend about this and we started talking about possible headcanons for alex and. this happened. (society6)
HOLY shit this is amazing???
My first cosplay and convention was a success! I had so much fun and was happy that at least some people knew who I was, a grand total of 8 people that is! Boston comicon was such a great time and I am very happy that I cosplayed as one of my favourite characters for my very first time! I added the photo I used for reference at the end so you all can see!
LAST DAY TO SIGN UP!
Today is the last day the sign up form for the ITF calendar project is open, and you still got great chances to take part!
For some months, especially May, June and August, only few artists signed up; If you sign up for one of those, you have good chances to actually see your art in the calendar, but of course sign ups are very welcome for every month that is still available.
What will I, the artist, gain from this project if i take part?
More attention to you and your art; because it will be featured in an actual calendar with physical, printed copies, your art will be seen by every buyer of the calendar.
This could firstly result in more followers on your social media accounts and generally more attention from the fandom
Having taken part in such a project is always good for a CW or similar documents
In case of you selling other artworks via shops (e.g society6), this could also even increase the number of products you sell
Last but not least: Because the earnings that are left over after covering the printing costs will fully be donated to the charity MIND, you will also have helped a mental health charity do it’s amazing work.
Please find any info you need about the project on this blog, especially on the original post, the FAQ page and the rules page. Please don’t hesitate asking us questions if you can’t find an answer there.
If you already know all about the project: Here is a direct link to the sign up form.
Thank you and we hope we could convince you to take part! :)
