This might be one of my favorite posts because it blows my mind how well we keep nature off of man made things when in reality it can grow over like we were never here

My favorite thing about "Ok Boomer" is that, instead of arguing, the youth unconsiously and collectively decided to literally just verbally wave boomers off and treat them like children who won't shut up and i think that's beautiful

Recently, I’ve learned not to interrupt when people tell me what they’re going through. If we’re in person, I wait until they’re finished talking. If we’re texting, I don’t start typing until they stop. I don’t rush to compare my experience to theirs, even if they’re similar. I don’t offer unsolicited advice. I’m practicing listening to understand, not to respond. Sometimes people just need someone to listen. Even if your intentions are good, give them that time and space.

i know i’m consistently shocked by the totally normal progression of time but i genuinely can’t believe it’s already 2018 i feel like 2014 was like six minutes ago… but also at the same time 2017 felt like it lasted 45 years so??? not sure what’s going on anymore
