Pebble to Pearl

I love our band. We had a great, no fantastic gig this past Friday. While we all made our own little mistakes here and there, it didn't matter. I went home smiling and looking forward to what's coming next on our adventures. It's a rollercoaster, but damn if I'm not having a great ride.

Sigh

I'm sad and disappointed and I feel defeated. One part of my life is perfection, but another part can't seem to set itself straight. Just when I was excited and relieved up in the air it goes again. It's exhausting and I'm so saddened now, mostly due to disappointment. I don't really know how to process this currently. I'm trying to stay positive and optimistic. But I don't know.

It's amazing how much people can change over time. You meet someone years ago and looking back realize how different they are now from then. Sometimes good, sometimes for the worse. People grow up and apart and if you are lucky closer.

What a bleh day.....

I'm feeling productive, I'm feeling creative, I'm feeling rather accomplished today.....but.....I'm feeling bleh. It could be the weather I guess. Or it could be this incredible sense of intuition or protective sight I have been blessed with. I know IT's coming. The storm. Not a tornado or a hurricane. I feel it from all sides of me, the building of negative energy. I'm a fighter, you know this. Its going to be a hard, emotional, and painful fight where people will get unnecessarily hurt, but you don't care. You are selfish, you always have been. You are easily influenced by those who you think will protect you or share your pain. They won't and they don't. They just like the story. Your naivety will be your downfall. I am a fighter. I know what I'm up against, do you? Today I feel bleh, tomorrow I may as well, but when you enter the arena you will see a gladiator.
