I don’t think we talk enough about how the entirety of Wicked is built on the irony of No One Mourns the Wicked. The musical exists because Glinda feels the need to tell Elphaba’s story, because she is in mourning and entirely alone in that. Glinda’s love is what creates the musical because no one mourns Elphaba except her, and that is an incredibly lonely place to be. She’s just lost two of the most important people to her, and all she’s trying to do is make someone, anyone else see how important they were.

i’d love to!! ily thank u for asking, sorry it took so long rip..... my most beloved + the char I played the longest (little over a year) was a garbage frog boi named Fuit Gummi that falsely believed himself a handsome and loved human prince cursed into the body of a disgusting unlovable frog :))

He was a chaotic neutral (aimed for a c-evil to c-good arc but uh-), hexblade warlock frog (grung), played level 3-7. He waddled around the cold, cold world with a giant great axe, magical cowboy boots, rag-tag party of idiots, and accidentally acquired grudges from 5+ non-malevolent(?) powerful entities...

I love fairy tales and was on a frog kick so the frog prince was easy character inspiration. I wanted an antithesis of a chosen one - a character with nothing, that wanted more than anything to be loved chosen and wanted, but couldn’t quite get there. In an ideal world he would’ve figured out that ~he can be better and be loved~ but he definitely got uh... dragged off by enemy zombie grung after my friend rolled three nat 1′s in a row LMAO

And thus ended Fuit Gummi :D it was fun playing an idiotic, desperate for affection frog in a very harsh world - he made a pact with a powerful yeehawing patron mama that planted the prince delusion in his mind; adopted an undead emotionally-absent cleric NPC as his dad; was besties with an elephant (loxodon) wizard whose spellbook was a frog-centric cookbook and who constantly set Fuit Gummi on fire; met a very cute cat cleric named Baja Blast; and had a Cool himbo Human Paladin pal that got traumatized when his player rolled three nat 1′s and effectively ended Fuit Gummi (sorry eden)

I really fell in love with warlocks playing Fuit Gummi and never shut up about them - HIGHLY recommend playing one. Lots of fun flavor opportunities, and mechanically So flexible and fun to play. I play a wizard now and its fun but not nearly as versatile as my hexblade :’)

I could truly go on forever and ever about dnd!! I’m lucky to have sat at a small handful of different tables with pals (and twice with my family lol), and Especially lucky to have friends willing to dm TT but !! i’ll stfu this is too long already ahaha
