Whatever life he had before has been fabricated inside his own head during his youth. However much Shiloh claims to have remembered a world with a family, its all been grabbed from memories he saw in movies as a child. The true story behind the boy is unknown to everyone, including himself. All the orphanage was certain of was that he came in when he was only three, having been found in the forest playing with sticks in the mud. No one knew who it was that left him there and his parents were never able to be found. As the years went by no one ever came looking for little Shiloh but he didn’t mind, that part of him dying the day he met Peter Pan. That was the boy who had been there even longer than he had and gave him the nickname Slightly after deciding the name Shiloh was too hard to pronounce. This friendship became a brotherhood before long, the two boys doing everything together. It turned out that his best friend had a knack for getting into trouble and Slightly always being by his side when it happened. They were as bad of an influence on each other as the rest of the boys in the orphanage. Those that banded around Peter were lost but had finally been found. Who needed a real family when they had an even better one right here?
When the idea was proposed to leave it was Slightly who immediately jumped on board for a life outside of the limits within these walls. They would finally be able to do something, a real something, whatever that may be. Dreams weren’t exactly in the plans but he did love to play music, specifically the guitar. After they were out and doing their best to survive, the only object that Slightly had with him from the orphanage was his guitar which he’d use to help the boys sleep amidst the loud bustle of the streets. The group of misfits had become the best family he would’ve ever dreamed of and did his best to make sure they were taken care of along with Peter. He would play his guitar for money on the streets when it was tight to help everyone ear that night whether it was with the coins he earned or acting as a distraction for the others to steal what they needed. Even though it hadn’t been said, Slightly took it upon himself to stand alongside Peter in whatever he did. Instead of a best friend, he had become more like a brother.
As they grew older Slightly started to pursue a career in music but it was shortlived. It turns out the industry wasn’t easy, much like many others things in his life. Instead, he works at the restaurant alongside his best mate and does his best to stay in the moment. All Slightly knows for certain is that he is in no rush to grow up anyway so he might as well stay right where he is.
Slightly would never say it but sometimes he wishes he was like Peter, never having to grow up like the rest of them. He would wish upon stars as a kid that he too could be like his friend so that they would not grow up together.
Music is the only thing that makes him feel like he’s got a future, regardless of how terribly it spit him out when he tried to pursue it. He’s never been a dreamer, having followed in his friends' every footstep, but when he plays everything seems to make sense.
Having a mother wasn’t ever something Slightly wanted and when Wendy came into their lives he was reluctant. After all this time they’d been fighting against this very thing but she grew on him, her stories being better than any they’d ever come up with before. As time went on, he’s come to love her and want to protect her just as much as the other boys.
Tink, a bitch if there ever was one, but his favorite. Her addition to the group was necessary, feeling as though she fit in as the last piece they all needed. That being said she is still the scariest when she’s mad and he tries to stay on her good side, that doesn’t mean he can’t be found pushing her buttons though.
After seeing Sharpay Evans playing one night he hasn’t been able to get her out of his head. She was beautiful, talented, and way out of his league. Still, that had never stopped him before and he’s always trying to find some excuse to talk to her.
