tell me why this budgetless gay youtube series made for fun by a group of friends has the best editing and writing of anything i’ve watched in a year.
also tell me how this single scene can contain every single one of the top three most iconic lines in history.
Hey y'all! I know this isn't normally the type of content that I reblog, but I just want to let you know that this video was created by an independent comedian named Brian Jordan Alvarez. It's called "The Gay and Wondrous Life of Caleb Gallo" and it can be found on Alvarez's YouTube channel at https://m.youtube.com/user/bjalvo
The reason I want to let everyone know is because this is a content creator that I've followed for a really long time and I feel like he deserves more recognition, especially on a post that is of his work. I would reblog this onto my personal, but that doesn't have a wide enough audience for my support to matter very much. I really encourage everyone to check out the series, as it seriously is one of the funniest and most high quality comedy series's on YouTube. You won't regret it!
so i took the personality test two years ago and got intp, but took it again recently and got intj. i identify more with intj and was wondering if types can change? because i heard somewhere else that your type never changes, but i feel like myself as a person has changed a lot over the past few years and wasn't sure how accurate it is to say your type never changes
So this is a highly debated topic even to this day, as many people have spawned their own ideas about how types work over the years. All I can really do is give you my personal opinion and evidence to support it as I know my own argument best and don't really want to speak for anyone else and their ideas without knowing them very well. I hope this helps!Okay so here's what I think: MBTI types do not change over time, but the ways in which we express our functions do, and that can lead to easy mistyping in times of high personal development like adolescence and childhood. For example, early in life, extraverted thinking might look like introverted thinking, especially in shy children and teenagers. This is because an extroverted thinker might give up on trying to implement systems in the external world due to fear of interaction and judgment. Therefore, extroverted thinking in an INTJ, could imitate introverted thinking found in INTPs if the human learns to suppress certain aspects of it to fulfill a particular image. This principle can be applied to all of the functions, be it in largely different ways. The conclusion I draw from this is that as people grow and learn, they can present themselves outwardly as a different type than their decision processes and inward personality would otherwise indicate. This means that people can appear as different types throughout life, but they don't change their inherent nature in terms of MBTI.As previously stated, this is mostly an opinion based on my own experience, and I sincerely do encourage you to read others' opinions on this matter, as they're varied and often better fleshed out than mine. I hope this helped!

How to figure out your MBTI type, according to Tumblr
If you play sports, do drugs, regularly injure yourself and have no idea what the words “future” or “long term” mean, you’re an ESTP.
If you are loud, fun, have never had an intelligent thought, and party for 27 hours a day, you’re an ESFP.
If you are a psychopathic bag of internet trolls, secretly are building Frankenstein and/or an Iron Man suit in your basement, and have never had a conversation that wasn’t an argument, you’re an ENTP.
If you eat rainbows and poop butterflies, can’t stop daydreaming about love and/or memes, constantly flake out on others, and have never finished anything in your life, you’re an ENFP.
If you love rules, yelling, unborn babies, crushing the dreams of your NF children, and being emotionally insecure, you’re an ESTJ.
If you are social, caring, and also extremely shallow, fake, and boring, you’re an ESFJ.
If you consider yourself intelligent, occasionally think about the future, and have zero respect for others, you’re an ENTJ.
If you founded a charity to save all the children in Africa and were born with the ability to read minds, you’re an ENFJ.
If you ever go out into the woods in a leather jacket and skinny jeans to build motorcycles with your bare hands you’re an ISTP.
If you have deep feelings, nobody understands you, and you like to get high and draw emotional pictures, you’re an ISFP.
If you have zero feelings, moderate six subreddits, love to procrastinate, and are secretly twelve calculators in a trench coat, you’re an INTP.
If nobody understands your tortured, selfish soul and you write dramatic poetry every waking hour that you don’t turn and toss in bed, wondering if anyone will ever understand your terrible plight of life, you’re an INFP.
If you are quiet, considerate, and literally made of chocolate, you’re an ISFJ.
If you love rules, never have ideas, and are extremely boring, you’re an ISTJ
And if you have ever thought about the future ever and consider yourself at least slightly above average intelligence, well you obviously must be an INTJ.
And finally, if you have ever thought about the future, have feelings, and want to be special, you must be INFJ. Did you know it’s the rarest type?
I just saw your last all and I have kind of the same problem. I go back and forth between intp and intj. What's the difference?
The differences between INTP and INTJ are nuanced and have to do with the functions of both. I'll give a quick rundown of how the functions affect each type.INTJs are led by their introverted intuition, which makes us rely on our one vision of the world and its future as our primary decision maker. This is supported by extraverted thinking, which means that we use tried and true thought systems to help us rationalize decisions.INTPs on the other hand, are led by their introverted thinking, which means they use their own person sense of rationality to make decisions first and foremost, and this is supported by extraverted intuition, which allows INTPs to contemplate many intricate possibilities when making decisions. In practice, this difference becomes apparent when considering the two types' very different ideas of rationality. INTJs believe there is one true logic system that applies to nearly all (if not all) situations, while INTPs, who use a personal sense of logic to decide things, believe there are many ways to rationally approach a situation and end with different results. I hope this helped clear things up!
I'm back!
So I’ve been on an unintentional hiatus for a long time (approximately a year and a half), and I apologize for my lack of content. I’m going to do my best to keep up with this blog, although for the most part it will be catching up on asks for awhile! Thanks for understanding
Ive gotten both intj and istj and idk which one i am. Can you tell me some of the differences?
The main difference that I notice when evaluating whether or not someone is an ISTJ or an INTJ is whether or not they believe that practical application is the point of scientific progress or whether progress for progress's sake is just as valuable. ISTJs tend to value the fruits of innovation and how they help the world while INTJs are slightly more fixated on the innovation itself. However, this is just a personal observation. Let me give you a more objective list of differencesINTJ:Values theory, following instinct, and introspection. Tends to enjoy activities that focus on strategy, such as difficult games. BIG PICTURE THINKERS, often loses sight of the detailsISTJ:Values routine, tradition, and personal growth. Tends to enjoy activities more focused on actual application of thought, such as planning events. More detail oriented than INTJs by far
Okay so I think the MBTI is really interesting, I would be INTJ too according to it, but I'm also a bit sceptical and I've done a little research and heard many people say it's bullshit or just plain inaccurate. What do you think of that? :) Thanks!
MBTI, while based somewhat in science, does tend to heir on the side of psuedo-psychology. However, do I believe that it has a strong basis in reality based on personal experience? Yes. Not to discredit people who hardcore believe in this theory as being the end-all be-all of personality psychology, but I am more of a fan of the theory as a tool for understanding people around me in a general sense and bettering myself. The practical application of aspects of the theory that I personally find to be true often yields positive results, and for that reason I don't believe that it's all bullshit. Hope that helped!
When you feel your tertiary function kicking in
ISTJ: Can I tell you a secret?
ENTP: I wouldn’t recommend it, no.
INTJ: I’m realistic
INTJ: *detached from 90% of objective reality*
INTJ: *focused on 10% of reality they can bend to their will*
INTJ: I’m realistic
What Each Myers-Briggs Personality Type Means When They Say ‘I Love You’
By Heidi Priebe
ENFP: I’m enthralled by you.
It’s not that their love lacks depth, intensity or commitment – quite the opposite, in fact – but when an ENFP says they love you, you can guarantee their heart is turning a thousand miniature cartwheels every time you enter the room. This type loves the way they do everything else – passionately, fully and enthusiastically. The thought of you drives them wild and their ‘I love you’ roughly translates to ‘My heart is basically BURSTING OUT OF MY CHEST every time I think about you, which is approximately all of the time.’
ENTP: I’m fascinated by you.
ENTPs view relationships the way they view everything in their lives – as an exciting puzzle to be explored and investigated. This type falls into fascination with the people in their lives – wanting to learn as much as they can about them and piece together their intricacies. When this type says ‘I love you,’ they are not just promising to care for you, they are letting you know that they are absolutely fascinated by you – and that they want to spend a significant amount of time trying to figure you out.
ISTJ: I will maintain my commitment to you come hell or high water.
When an ISTJ loves you, he or she is in it for the long haul. So long as both of you are on the same page, this dedicated type is willing to put in a seemingly endless amount of effort to make a relationship work. ‘Love’ truly is a verb to the ISTJ, and when they tell you ‘I love you,’ they’re preaching their unshakeable commitment to you.
INFP: Loving you has become a part of who I am.
Love is a deeply personal experience to the INFP and they take the feeling anything but lightly. When an INFP loves you, they aren’t just concerned for your wellbeing – they feel all of your pains, your struggles and your triumphs as their own. Loving you becomes a part of their core identity and part of the way in which they define their very selves. When this type says ‘I love you,’ they are letting you know that the way they feel about you has infiltrated their most intimate thoughts and emotions.
INTP: I will never stop trying to understand you.
INTPs may not be the most showy or romantic lovers, but they display their devotion subtly – by consistently trying to understand their partner (and their needs) better. This type enjoys analysing and dissecting what makes their loved ones tick – and the more they love you, the more invested they will be in this process. When an INTP says ‘I love you,’ what they’re really saying is that they’re committed to getting to understand you better and better every day.
ESTJ: I will spend my life striving to provide for you.
ESTJs are extremely invested in the wellbeing of their loved ones. Though they may not be gushy or showy when it comes to their affection, they make sure that the people they care about want and need for nothing. When an ESTJ says ‘I love you,’ they are telling you that they plan to work hard to make sure your needs are met – in whichever way they’re able to – for as long as they possibly can.
ESFJ: I want the world to know that you’re on my team.
To an ESFJ, love means being in sync with someone – and committing to tackle life together long-term. This affectionate type adores showering their loved ones with care and attention. They want to shout it from the rooftops when they’re deeply in love – and when they say ‘I love you,’ they’re really saying that they aren’t afraid to tell the world that you’re together – because they plan to be in it for the long run.
ISFJ: I value your happiness as my own.
ISFJs are selective about who they fall in love with – but once they fall, they fall deeply and completely. This huge-hearted type takes on the needs of their lovers as their own. They genuinely find it difficult to be personally happy if their loved ones are distressed, and therefore take it upon themselves to provide diligently for the people they care about. When an ISFJ says ‘I love you,’ they are telling you that they are incredibly invested in your happiness – and that they want to help you achieve it at any cost.
INTJ: I see a future with you.
To the future-focused INTJ, saying ‘I love you’ is not just an expression of affection – it’s a promise. This type is highly selective about who they invest themselves in emotionally – and if they have allowed themselves to fall in love with you, you can bet they’re picturing you in their future long-term. When an INTJ tells you ‘I love you,’ they’re telling you that you’re someone they hope to have in their lives for a very long time.
INFJ: I trust you with my heart.
INFJs are both overwhelmingly caring and notoriously skeptical of others – which results in them being highly selective about whom they place their trust in. For this type to fall fully in love, they need to feel completely comfortable with their partner – and to believe that they are someone they could fit with longterm. If an INFJ says ‘I love you,’ they are letting you know that they trust you – and that they see a future alongside you.
ENFJ: I will never stop trying to make you happy.
There is nothing the ENFJ type loves more than fostering deep, supportive relationships with their loved ones. When this type truly cares for someone, there is nothing they will not do to make that person happy. If an ENFJ tells you ‘I love you,’ you can rest assured that what they really mean is, ‘Your happiness is my happiness from this point onward.’
ENTJ: I would do anything on earth to protect you.
ENTJs may not be particularly expressive when it comes to their emotions, but the truth about this type is that they would absolutely take a bullet for the people they are devoted to. When an ENTJ says ‘I love you,’ what they’re really saying is that there’s nothing they wouldn’t do to help you succeed and to keep you protected from harm.
ESTP: I want to be your superhero.
ESTPs are notoriously adventurous and daring – but what is underrated about this type is their protective and softhearted side. When an ESTP loves you, they will eternally want to swoop in to save the day when things are falling apart for you. This type shows love through action – and when they tell you ‘I love you,’ what they really mean is, ‘I will be here to care and look out for you.’
ESFP: I choose you.
ESFPs live in a world of people possibilities – so when they’re willing to settle down with just one person, you can rest assured that they aren’t just blindly falling for you – they’re choosing you. Deliberately and pointedly. An ESFP saying ‘I love you,’ is them saying ‘I prioritise you above other people’ – and for a type as people-focused as the ESFP, that’s no small feat.
ISFP: We are meant for each other.
ISFPs are cautious and slow when it comes to falling in love – but when they do so, it’s because they feel as though they’ve truly found their other half. This type craves a deep, soulful connection with their significant other, and they are not quick to hand out ‘I love you’s.’ When this type tells you those three little words, it means they truly see you as the person their life has been missing all along.
ISTP: I want to prioritise you.
ISTPs may not be showy romantics, but they can always be counted on to tangibly demonstrate their love. When an ISTP truly cares about someone, they don’t mind making a few compromises and rearranging their lifestyle in order to accommodate them. When this type tells you ‘I love you,’ they’re making a promise to prioritise you above the independent lifestyle they treasure.
