Lo so, siete a bocca aperta. L’opera è di Darian Rodriguez Mederos, classe 1992, artista cubano di cui sentiremo parlare ancora.

Was just talking about this yesterday.
Christina Kooiker | Amsterdam, Netherlands.
See you in December, Amsterdam.
El Paso, here I come.
She’s just so fucking cute. I am missing Bird and Ripley so dang much right now. I’ve been in Atlanta for work and am on night five away from them and night three of a hotel stay near the office.
True to form, I can’t sleep. Scrolled through my archive back to 2009. Insane. 10 years I’ve shared with the secret/not so secret world of people here.
There’s no real meaning to this post. Just delirious at this point. My deposition tomorrow should go well. Xoxo.

Bought this yesterday and can’t put it down. Need all the help I can get and who doesn’t love uncomplicated things?
Ichiro Tsuruta’s “Bijin-ga” at Onishi Gallery.
Currently on view at Onishi Gallery in New York City is artist Ichiro Tsuruta’s solo exhibition, “Bijin-ga.”
Influenced by Toshimitsu Imai, an influential 20th century avant-garde Japanese artist, Tsuruta turned his eyes, which had been focused overseas up to that point, back to Japan in establishing his own, new style. After trial-and-error based on the idea, “Can’t I unite Japanese things like ukiyo-e with Art Nouveau and Art Deco of the West,” what he hit on was his bijin-ga paintings of beautiful women. Thus he converted from the Western-style realism, which involves drawing with an adept technique in order to look like a photograph, into producing delicate and symbolic Japanese-style portraits.
The exhibition will be on view until May 11th, 2019.
