IMPORTANT NEWS UPDATE FOR INVADER ZIM COMICS

So any one keeping up with the Invader Zim monthly comic, its ending with issue #50 that releasing on March 18, 2020.

However it’s not the complete end for the comic series, because it's being replace with the “INVADER ZIM QUARTERLY”. Which means instead of a monthly comic, we will get new comic issue every 3 months. These quarterly issues will be more longer than the monthly issues and have a price increase from $3.99 to $5.99.

Also the first issue of these new comics is releasing in April 15, 2020 and is titled “Gir's Big Day”, which is the same title of a unfinished episode from the show. It's being written by Eric Trueheart and the art by Aaron Alexovich, who both originally worked on the tv show.

Here’s the plot for that issue.

“A brand new, extra long issue of Invader ZIM - now released quarterly! Tasked with a very important mission, ZIM's robot servant, GIR, ventures into the wide world to assist his master with his most diabolical scheme yet! But no one counted on GIR's distractibility... or time travelers... or weird hybrid lab animals who need rescuing. All in a day's work for GIR! But what was he actually supposed to be doing, again?”

Hardcore Tak, Purple, and Red

the tallests on HardCore AU are basically the same, except the fact that they’re good and care about Zim, that’s why this is Zim’s first mission, Red and Purple care about him and fear that Zim could die or get hurt outside.

and Tak, she comes to earth to save Zim from Membrane and Dib, but at that point in the story, Zim is already corrupted and doesn’t wanna come back to Irk, saying that he can do this and he would never disappoint the tallests like that. sadly, Tak doesn’t have a happy future here too.

this is HardCore Au

it’s basically the same except Zim is good and Membrane is a bad scientist,

Membrane likes to study people and discover stuff in a hardcore way, with violence and basically killing those people sometimes, but he does all this in a legal way. People that want to be used as a guinea pig, go on a cite or have to fill a paper that his company hand out, telling why they want to help his company and if they really want to give permission of their body for study.

Dib still wants to be a paranormal investigator, but he is violent like Membrane because he is a psychopath and, as a clone, Dib turns out to be like him having kind of a sadistic and masochist way

Gaz is basically the same too, except she is more violent and sometimes she even has to be controlled so she doesn’t do anything too cruel to Dib.

 And Zim is just a good boy that came from his planet to spread love and peace to earth like his species does. Like in the original story, Zim wasn’t chosen to be a “savior” yet, but he was so determined and cute, that the Tallests suggested earth, a planet that wasn’t the worst they had and could serve as a test so they could see if Zim was ready to be a “savior”.

“GIR is extremely aware he is broken,  almost to an alarming degree and it’s almost really sad if I think about too much…The truth is, I think he’s defective. He was defective right out of the factory……He’s defective just like Zim.” ( X)

GIR was really thinking about nothing. Sometimes it’s better to have an empty mind than to actually know. 

Never do an analysis of a comedic character in a cartoon or you’ll wonder what GIR 1.0 was like before he had garbage for a brain. And I thought he’d be overly wide-eyed and curious and friendly… until he was disassembled really quickly, wiping the event from his hard-drive forever. Only remembering the pain and that he’s broken and garbage. Which would explain… well like my whole college thesis on the robot brain….. 

Things did get better for GIR 2.0 though, even if his brain doesn’t work as well as it used to then. He can’t remember the past, but He’s happy now. And that’s all that matters.
