this kitten weighs over 5 pounds already and he’s only 14 weeks old. He’s half the size of an adult cat and he hasn’t even lost his baby teeth yet

He is now 16 weeks old and over 6 pounds. Kittens are supposed to be half their adult weight at 5-6 months, and he is barely 4 months old. What the fuck.

Now at 22 weeks, 5 months old, half his adult weight, this baby is 10 pounds,,,

30 WEEKS. 7 MONTHS.

14 POUNDS.

THAT IS TWICE THE AVERAGE WEIGHT OF A CAT HIS AGE. THE GIRLS IN HIS LITTER ARE ONLY LIKE 8 POUNDS WHY IS HE SO HUGE

Hello it is Time for Another Update!!!

It is June 18th, 2018. Half-n-Half is now 10 months old. Last I weighed him (like 2 weeks ago?) he was over 15 pounds, but he’s not gaining weight as rapidly anymore. Regardless, he’s still Big

Our Butters is the same! His littermates are all ‘normal’ weight (8-10 pounds) and he is close to 18!!! 18 whopping chonky heckin’ pounds!!! His mom was tall and lanky but quite light. We aren’t sure where it comes from!

We love him so.

The focus here is how Manu will lay in my lap like this for belly rubs. She’ll spend 5-10 minutes on her back while I gently rub her belly and her motor runs its loudest when she’s in full belly mode.

How do cats always know when you need them most?? Now, Manu is needy as it is and is generally attached to me regardless - but she’s not a big ‘lap cat’. She’s a ‘sit next to you’ cat. So I always know she can tell when I need her more 🥰💕

I wish my babies made biscuits more 😢 Howie made them once as a kitten and then I’ve only seen him do it once since then. I’ve seen Beauty do it hesitantly only once or twice 😢 Are my cats not happy enough to make me biscuits? 😥

@wisdomfangs to be fair, Manu sits in her food dish and purrs at her automatic feeder so her standards are pretty low. My boyfriends cats are super happy but not big biscuit makers (they don’t even purr much, but they love to snuggle quietly). Depends on the cat I think. Hope this makes you feel better 💕

Pomona did not like the vet. Instead she hid in my vest and tried her very best to pretend she did not exist.

But she got a full clean bill of health and her vet is super happy with her growth 🥰
