I unlocked the blade runners in satisfactory and my god. Why does a factory building game with like 4 enemies need this much schmovement? I keep accidentally launching myself off cliffs and taking fall damage because I'm holding so much momentum but I can't stop. Speed.

Tried out satisfactory because a friend described it as "a survival crafting game that's all crafting". I was kinda like yeah this is just subnautica but on land and you sit in a menu holding spacebar to make shit until I got a production line going that automatically made materials and I realized just how insane the building in this game is. Watching endless raw materials get processed and standing there listening to the loud ass machine noises while I harvest the planet save humanity has got me scared I might really really like this game. I can feel the tingle in the my brain.

I am learning quickly that I'm not very good at mina the hollower. Even the basic enemies are bending me over so bad I simply can't retain any bones I earn so I'm stuck in a loop of never being able to get better to help me deal. This is not a game for people with bad reaction times.

I was kind of like "damn that megaman cat character sure is getting a lot of horny art" and chalked it up to the internet doing its thing to some random character. It happens. Then I watched the pilot and she's actually a curvy brown catgirl who's in a bikini for most of the runtime. Never mind that makes complete sense godspeed to the creator live your dream.

Working on a blender model, got the mesh done, armature set, saving the texture for later as I'll be using it as a base for other stuff. Go about weight painting and get everything set the way I want to. For some reason the bones aren't moving properly with the mesh. Check the weights, test some of the maxed out ones. Still getting this weird 75% efficiency offset shit. Spend an hour redoing all my vertices individually thinking that something got messed up there. Nope, still not working right. Start fucking with random options trying to find a solution and still come up empty. Test again, problem persists. Leave blender open while I search online for a solution and find nothing relevant. Tab back in and suddenly it works perfectly fine.

People often say that cats are independent animals and don't seek affection. This is occasionally true but some cats also spend no small amount of effort jamming their bodies between you and the chair in an effort to gain passive affection because they're giant babies (and you're eating popcorn and might drop some on them).

Game 2 had a lot of issues for both teams but the use of Smith on first in the second inning was a HUGE fuckup. His record for interceptions is so bad it's a wonder he's allowed anywhere near there. And then there's Hernandez pitching. Another terrible record in that position and a frankly baffling choice for him to be placed there. It's like they want to lose! I just want to know how in the pan fried fuck anyone expects to win a game when they keep pulling shit like this it's getting to the point that I think they're trying to throw. They need to just fire the whole team and start over honestly. Except Michaels, he's the best of course.

My buddy who is a destinyhead is currently in the denial stage of grief. He bought marathon despite having no interest in extraction shooters and has been playing it all day apparently. I asked him if he liked it and he told me "It doesn't matter. It's fine.". I don't think he likes it very much but hey, destiny 3 won't happen if bungie goes under. I am so glad I never liked that series.

I think this is a pretty neat little collab but judging by the last two legendary warbonds I doubt the people excited about this now are going to be so when they get their hands on it. Getting upcharged for gimmicky non-upgradable weapons and armor that is only useful for roleplaying in a game that the devs want to be brutally demanding just means that this one is probably doomed to be forgotten in short order.

I'm not against these kinds of collabs and I think more games should this kind of stuff but the crossover content in HD2 is just cosplay and it kind of feels like a way to distract people from all the controversy that's been kicked up. Remember, once the reviews go down, the big promises and shiny new stuff comes out.
